Traded in my Yamaha CVP-310 for a new Tyros. Could not have been made easier. Delivered and collected within a week. Can only highly recommend the store and staff. Very helpful and knowledgeable and made my decisions very easy for me. Richard.Norfolk

I received nothing but the very best help and advice from Tony And Amanda at Bonners Music. A fair trade in price for my used equipment, My new Roland Integra-7 arrived by carrier the following day and my used equipment collected at the same time. Totally hassle and pressure free, and made easy by everyone involved at Bonners Music. I have no hesitation to highly recommend Bonners and I will be buying from them again soon. Ian M Rowlands. I recently purchased a Kawai MP11 from Bonners. From the outset they were extremely professional and helpful. The only downside was when I asked about a suitable stand for the piano, an X-stand was recommended which I purchased and it was totally inappropriate for the weight of the instrument. I recommend something much more robust. Overall though I recommend Bonners.

The piano was a bargain and I sort of made the decision to buy it there and then. I had not intention of buying one. The staff in the shop were amazingly helpful and friendly. As I bought the display model they took it apart and helped me carry it to the car. I was so amazed with Bonners that I signed up for piano classes in Eastbourne as well even though I live in London and only come down for weekends.

The wrong part was delivered twice, leading to an extra 6-week wait for the final product. I was told that some additional items would be provided as an apology, but nothing else was received.

My Yamaha NU1 is probably the best piano that I have owned. ( And I have owned over 8 pianos in the last 40 years) The realistic acoustic "grand piano" sound is simply stunning - and since I live in a small apartment, it takes up very little space. Bonners delivered and assembled on time. I recommend them highly.

Initially, I was impressed with the retailer and the salesperson. After purchase however, I had a problem with the instrument and was told (by a different salesperson) that because I had purchased at a discounted price (still £350 thank you very much) that I should be content that I had received a bargain and that Bonners would "be doing me a favour" to have one of their staff try to repair the problem. The chap on the phone was dismissive, rude and bordering on intimidating......Bonners is fine so long as you haven't bought a discounted instrument that has a fault!!!! Not impressed. Will never return...discount or no discount.

Dear Rosalind Thank you very much for your feedback. The problem that you are referring to is the scratch on the body of the violin which you purchased from us? At the time, you confirmed that the scratch happened after you had taken the violin home. Accidental scratches are not covered by the warranty, but we advised you that we were more than happy to try and repair the scratch for you free of charge. You emailed us photos of the instrument - but you had dismantled it (ie removed all the strings, tail-piece and bridge), so we could not be sure how the scratch had occurred. We would still be very happy to try and disguise the scratch for you free of charge. Please accept our apologies if you didn't feel that our staff were not sympathetic to your request at the time. Please let us know if you would like to return the instrument for our workshop staff to take a look at for you.

In terms of online shopping, this could not have been a better experience. This is the first time I shopped with Bonners and it will certainly not be the last. Having had to contact them by phone (they phoned me first) I found them to be courteous and friendly and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Would definitely recommend them, and as I said, I will shop with them again.

Excellent service, from staff who really knew their business and took the time and trouble to understand what I wanted and to demonstrate some possible pianos. It was impressive that the young man who served us was a very good pianist himself, and so able to let us hear the different sounds of the pianos we considered. We had a very good feeling about the place, and will return there if we require instruments again.

We ordered a Yamaha AvantGrand N1 : the team at Bonners has been excellent all the way from initial information to order processing and delivery. It was all done in a relaxed but very efficient way. Well done !

The first sales lady that I encountered was very helpful. She then went on holiday. I felt that everyone was far too busy to deal with everything and that the accounts people were helping out on the shop floor. I then wanted to return a pair of speakers (cost approx. £300). I had used ONE for a total of about 3 minutes and had then decided that they were not what was required, so I returned them all boxed and wrapped, some 5 days later, only to be told that they would offer me only £150 as they were now used. Dreadful customer service and I will never go back.

I have looked into the situation and according to our bank records you were offered the full value of the speakers (£249) in store credit because they were originally purchased in-store. You didn't take this option, so in consideration that the item had been opened and used, we refunded you £235 to your credit card on 9th September 2013 - not £150 as you stated in your review. This amount reflected the discount we felt was required to sell the speakers on to a subsequent customer, having already been opened and used. I am extremely sorry for any mis-understanding. Very pleased with the service, a bonus have private parking. Although the EX100 was not on display the assistant soon got one from the store and set it up for me to try. After purchasing the piano was wrapped again and I was helped place it in my car. Bonners kindly disposed of the cardboard boxes which I didn't require.

My colleague and I run a community choir, and we went to Bonners In January 2014 to buy Kawai MP6 Stage Piano (ex demo), bought online from them via Ebay. We also needed help and advice regarding an amplifier. The staff at Bonners were extremely helpful, and gave us a good deal on the whole package, which included a stand, seat and bag on wheels for the keyboard. We had a small concern about the order in which we had to switch on the keyboard and amp, when sometimes, the keyboard didn't work , which even the manufacturers were unable to shed light on, and to check this out, Bonners delivered a replacement keyboard. It just meant that we had to remember to switch on the keyboard before the amp, which is good practice anyway. After trying the amp, we felt it wasn't powerful enough for our needs, and, again, Bonners immediately had another couriered over to us, and collected the original amp, refunding a small price difference. By the way, the new amp doesn't have the same issue. We would recommend Bonners to anyone. The knowledge, courtesy, interest, level of service and friendly attitude of their staff is something they should be extremely proud of,. They were a pleasure to deal with.
