“this is my second blind box, my friend and I did our tasting last week. We both enjoyed the tasting and spirits provided: Sample A (Vermont Spirits), the sweetness of the Maple syrup jumps out at you when it hits your tongue. Sample B (Kings County) was a delightful pour, the coffee beans , raisins and vanilla flavors stood out. Sample C (Badwater Brands) my mom said if you don't have anything good to say not to say anything at all!! Sample D (Art of Alchemy) this pour was very nice, I personally got vanilla, brown sugar, raisin, and a hint of pecans. I personally chose sample A, and my friend chose D. Both were good enough we are going to probably order both.”

“Every few months an amazing surprise shows up at my door. In a beautiful box with a personalized note, 4 enticing little bottles are inside with a mysterous brown liquid waiting to be tested, explored, and eventually revealed. Every single tasting box has had something absolutely incredible and unique, and more often than not, 3-4 of the whiskeys are absolutely out of this world. How lucky to be able to taste juice from these small, private distilleries that may never see a retail shelf - and then be given the opportunity to purchase each bottle at retail price! Blind Barrels is a company built on love of spirits and that love shows in every single box they ship out. If you aren't already a member you're missing out on one of the most wonderful secrets in the whiskey community.”

“My wife & I enjoy getting to try different bourbons & whiskeys that you can't find in our area & the ability to "try before you buy". We love that if we really like the sample, we can order it from the Blind Barrel site. We are excited for every box we get! Keep up the good work guys!!”

“Quarterly review of 4 blind whiskeys. They hit small distillers and share them with all of us. The real magic is the tasting zooms. Always buy at least bottle a quarter, sometimes more.”

“It's great to taste whiskeys that aren't available locally. Blind tastings add a fun element to the discovery process. Really like that there are some 'out there' samples and a wide mix of mash bills.”

“I wasn’t sure what to expect but Blind Barrels is a fantastic way to taste whiskeys and see what you like! They sent us some unique pours that we hadn’t tried. We ended up ordering a couple of bottles from their shop. The prices were very fair, and the whiskey was excellent!”

“This was so much fun! My husband and I started drinking whiskey and bourbon a couple years ago. We don’t know a lot about it, so we thought this would be a fun way to learn. We started with the Fall pack. It was a very fun stay-at-home date night. Can’t wait for the next pack. It came beautifully packaged and was very well done.”

“A nieghbor and I started an informal bourbon society that has about 9 members now. We make sure to have a full meeting every new release. We have had to deal with Bobby and the team on a few occasions, the support is amazing and the passion of everyone at blind Barrels is outstanding. The samples are great and have led to more than a few purchased bottles.”

“This is a review for the third box of 2024, Release XI, Legends of the Fall (I'm feeling like a rewatch of a certain flick now). The progression of this autumnal flight was really well-staged. As a rule, the style of #1 isn't for me, but I'm glad I experienced it. #2 into #3 is my jam, and I plan to buy a bottle of #3...no spoilers for what it is. And #4 was an excellent capper. I dug this flight of whiskey!”

“I've tried a couple whiskey tasting memberships and this is far and away the best experience. Really unique whiskeys, and quarterly live tastings to walk you through what you're trying and where it's from. This is the next best thing to going to a distillery. You get that level of information. Fantastic.”

“My friend got me a sub for my birthday, and we were both excited when the email came, notifying me that the first sample had been shipped. We got together a couple of days after it arrived, and mutually felt that the box was elegant, without being pretentious. The bottles were a great shape, and each contained enough whiskey to for us to split. As we tasted, it was fun trying to guess grains, mash bills and proofs. Not all 4 were winners, but there were a couple that I could see adding to my collection. Overall, the experience has been great, and I lam looking forward to the next sampler.”

“My husband and I recieved a year subscription as a wedding present last year and enjoyed it so much we renewed it for our one year anniversary and just celebrated with the "Legends of the Fall" box this week! We love having date night with the zoom tastings, it's a fun experience being able to explore the whiskeys with everyone else. Every box has had something we've really enjoyed. It's a blast tasting all the different types of whiskeys that we'd never be able to find in our area, or would want to commit to buying a full bottle of before trying. The samples are large enough that both of us get enough to taste. They've always shipped promptly and safely. There's an oppertunity to buy a full bottle of any of the samples at a great price. The guys at Blind Barrels are fun to listen to, knowledgable, and open to input and suggestions of craft distilleries from their subscribers, which makes it feel more like a community of whiskey lovers than anything else.”

“WE LOVE BLIND BARRELS! What a great idea Blind Barrels is! We've learned so much about whiskey and now enjoy it rather then just "drinking". I highly recommend getting a subscription and getting one for someone you know who loves whisky too!”
