Direct 4 Pet is the new easy name from Black Cat Medicines Limited.
Established in 1985 within a Lancashire Veterinary Surgery, we are now a busy Internet Pet Pharmacy and Pet Store shipping over 40,000 orders a month to our fantastic loyal customers. We are committed to delivering quality products at competitive prices and our Veterinary Surgery has been providing the highest standards of care for over 30 years. Our philosophy is to deliver excellence through a compassionate, approachable, and professional service to all our customers.

Our team of friendly team is made of up of veterinary surgeons, SQP's and an amazing back office team of Product Managers, Customer Services and our super efficient warehouse team. They are all happy to chat and are only a call away. All our vets are fully qualified and registered with the Royal Veterinary College; in addition, all our vets have practiced for many years.

The team at Black Cat Medicines has been together for a number of years and have an excellent working relationship together. Our team represents a valuable combination of experience and enthusiasm with the younger members of the team providing a constant source of innovation.

“I have used this company several times before with no problem whatsoever. Even though they are a bit more expensive than others, they managed to deliver my order within 3-5 days as stated on the website. This time it took 12 days! I will think twice before using the company again.”

“Website purchase was easy enough but the packaging was very poor. The item is to be a gift but the box was damaged presumably to insufficient packaging and the lid had come away from the mister. Luckily nothing had broken.”

“Very bad purchase and disappointed with the quality of the spray! It arrived without a spray cap on it and I was unable to use it. Luckily, I had another spray cup, from the other spray, which I didn’t use a lot. So, I took the spray top cup from it and was able to spray somehow. Unfortunately, because it was not the original cup, it sprayed only half of the stuff on the floor. Another half was leaking as a water on the floor. As a result, instead of spraying the 3 bedroom house, I was able to spray only 1 room. Since it was leaking all the time from the bottle. It was so sad and upsetting me a lot, as I planned to treat the entire house. I ordered from this website for the first time and very disappointed with the result and quality of the product. And I couldn’t check the bottle before the order, to make sure it is all fine! I also payed for the extra delivery for Amazon £3.99 and it was delivered only in the next 2 days. Not the next day delivery, as it was mentioned in the website. In that case I was able to take a “free” delivery within 2-4 days and it will be the same delivery frames. In that situation, instead of £12 (price of the bottle)I payed £16 with the delivery and received a broken bottle.”

“I found it very difficult to use. I selected your website as it did not ask me to register but your Shop process has completely baffled me, I did not want to give my details to Google in order to track my delivery and I have no idea when to expect my goods. I am therefore having to go to a pet shop tomorrow”

“It didn't, before purchase. Doesn't say what's in it. NOR what dilution rate with water( if applicable it is) The other pain, as always, you have to trawl through to find delivery costs. A frustration as per usual.”

“Very easy to place order and very good price,however delivery time is extremely poor especially given I don't live much more than 15 miles from you.Over 3 days since I placed the order and it still appears to be on a tour of the northwest with royal mail so just hoping that when I do finally receive it is not damaged.”

“Really good price on the biodegradable dog poo bags. However I ordered 2 lots of 500 which should of been 20 packs of 50. Although I only recieved 19 packs. I emailed the company using my order ID twice explaing that we were a pack short. I've heard nothing back, no message, no email. So a good price for a decent product but no service afterwards.”
