Direct 4 Pet is the new easy name from Black Cat Medicines Limited.
Established in 1985 within a Lancashire Veterinary Surgery, we are now a busy Internet Pet Pharmacy and Pet Store shipping over 40,000 orders a month to our fantastic loyal customers. We are committed to delivering quality products at competitive prices and our Veterinary Surgery has been providing the highest standards of care for over 30 years. Our philosophy is to deliver excellence through a compassionate, approachable, and professional service to all our customers.

Our team of friendly team is made of up of veterinary surgeons, SQP's and an amazing back office team of Product Managers, Customer Services and our super efficient warehouse team. They are all happy to chat and are only a call away. All our vets are fully qualified and registered with the Royal Veterinary College; in addition, all our vets have practiced for many years.

i can't give a review on something that hasn't arrived i am not happy with the service i paid for express delivery and i'm still waitng !!!

Easy enough to order but very disapointing product. Arrived with broken clips, very hard to assemble and not fit for purpose. I have emailed a request for a refund, its such a great idea but it does not work! I found it really hard to work out how to attached the lid to the bin, it is not covered in the instructions, on re-examining I am wondering if it should have been already assembled but had become detatched somehow in the handling and hense the broken clips.

An absolute nightmare. I had a long running subscription on prescription kibble & treats. When the Dec shipment was due my credit card had expired and you needed my new details. The so called link that you sent out actually just links to "help" pages on Shop, which are spectacularily unhelpful. I then rang you and was sent the same, usless, link. I rang back and you opertator couldn't update the credit card details either. In the end, we had to set up a new order from scratch, but at the one-off price, then a refund of the difference aranged manually. Then set up a new subscription, but I needed your help to move the start on by 2 months. It should not be this hard to update a credit card, someone needs to fix this.

Voucher code was applied and looked like it worked on payment page but was not reflected in price charged. No response from direct4pet despite an immediate email to ask to cancel the order (used Apple Pay and was unable to cancel) and then an email to say it was being despatched.

Very easy to purchase and use the website but unfortunately delivery isn’t on time, I paid for next day delivery which certainly isn’t the case! Website says order before 4pm you get next day but have to pay for it which I did… I ordered on Wednesday midday and today is Saturday and I still haven’t received my delivery, I have sent the company and email yesterday but have had no reply, so next day isn’t next day delivery with this company that you pay for!!!

I’d give zero stars if this were an option. Awful service and awful lack of communication. I paid for an item and one day delivery as I needed the item quickly. I received a confirmation or order email and the payment was taken. The following day I hadn’t received the promised confirmation of dispatch so I contacted them. They replied saying the item is not in stock and said they have refunded me, although I haven’t received this. They couldn’t explain why th et had sold something that wasn’t in stock or why they had promised one day delivery on an out of stock item. They then said they’d found the item and wanted another payment but couldn’t answer when I would receive it. Absolutely useless. Now I’m left with a pet who needs this item but who is going without due to direct 4 pets incompetence.

I ordered 2 items (flee treatment and household flee spray). By mistake I had selected dog flee treatment and not cat treatment as required (I’m not sure how but I did) after nearly a week, I had not received shipping confirmation. At this point I emailed Direct 4 Pet. After emailing them I received one email message to say someone would be in touch and then straight after another email to say my order was cancelled due to the mistake. I still need the 2 items and I am yet to receive any refund! No one has made contact with me as this could have been resolved easily, I’m sure. Very disappointing as I had read so many good reviews before in placed my first order!

Bustwr Dog Collor was shown in stock, and paid extra for express delivery next day. It's not arrived and not much communications as to when it's actually being dispatched. Disappointed.

Ordered some raspberry leaf tablets for my dog using the amazon next day delivery because we’d ran out. Expected them to come the next day.. 2 days later they arrived. She had to miss two days of these tablets so we are not happy at all and will not use direct4pet ever again.

My order arrived late even though I had paid for express delivery, as unfortunately they failed to post it out on time! They did refund my shipping cost, but only after I complained & it’s definitely not the point when you’re in need of a product quickly! Then, after having to wait longer for my order, it arrived & was unfit for purpose! So, now I have to chase them down for a full refund! Basically, a pointless, frustrating & time wasting experience!

Ordered from here as my current supplier had no stock,Web say order before 4pm for next day delivery. I ordered Monday night paid extra postage for delivery Wednesday, had no shipping email tried phoning and sent 2 emails 1 to each email address had no reply back. Had amazon shipping email last night for delivery today, I've had to give my dog some raw of my other dogs food which she shouldn't have as she has allergies this is the only dog food she can have. Won't be using again and hope my food does turn up today
