“I love my pair of tortoiseshell small tawny sunglasses! After emailing that the first pair felt slightly too loose for my head, Ed kindly offered to send me an adjusted pair the next day to replace my pair. My new pair fit perfectly! Thank you Bird Eyewear!”

“Truly impressed. I won't buy sunglasses anywhere else now! Like most people, I generally only leave reviews when I'm unhappy with something to warn others. It's rare that I take time to leave good reviews (I know I should do it more). But I'm generally so thrilled. I decided to go with Bird after my parents got some sunglasses from them. They bought them in the store and were thrilled with the service and the glasses. They looked great and help a good cause so I ordered some online. I messed up the postcode as I am in France and I got them delivered to the UK. I got in touch and they responded within hours to confirm I could change. Super helpful and friendly correcting my mistake. The glasses arrived super fast, and the package was well protected. Normally cases that come with glasses are a bit lame or cost a fortune but the case is excellent quality and they come with a silk slipcase plus a cleaning cloth. The sunglasses themselves are excellent quality and feel nicely "weighty" not flimsy. I generally break my sunglasses because I'm awful at looking after them. I won't hesitate to buy more. If you are unsure, I promise you won't regret it. Thanks to the whole team :)”

“I'm always looking for UK eco companies to buy from and I've wanted to buy some birds for ages. Finally got them and I obviously love them, they are very sleek and feel nicer on than other sunglasses, they look lovely and it's all sustainable material with no pointless packaging. My only critique is that the glasses I got are darker than the photo I saw but overall great, thank you”

“This is my second pair of birds. The first were sunglasses. The good people at bird accommodated me with a lighter-than-standard tint. My second pair were clear prescription. Again, the team were very pro-active by emailing me to confirm part of the prescription which I had been less than specific about - and I am pleased to report that they work very well!”

“I ordered my new glasses perilously close to Christmas and was delighted when they came through so promptly (even with uncertainty around delivery addresses). Customer service was excellent, punctual and friendly. The glasses are fab, my first pair but very comfortable to wear and nice to know they are more sustainable than what you'd get on the high street. Loved being able to try them on before ordering too.
