“More colour options for kids!”

“After finding out I needed prescription glasses, I wanted to find a pair that were practical, stylish and unique. The blackcap frames fit the bill. It was important to me to find glasses that I could guarantee were sustainably produced and I was assured of that with Bird. Working in forestry it was an extra bonus to get a pair that I can say are made of beech and bamboo. I had to adjust the glasses slightly when they arrived to hook around the ears and head more but I was guided through the process on the online chat and got the fit perfected. I have had so many people compliment the glasses since I started wearing them, people seem to love wooden frames as much as me!”

“Someone call the Vet, these Birds are sicccccccck! I love the smooth layered wooden frame with feather etching, the lenses give great protection from the brightness of the sun. “I picked up a pair of Tawny’s in caramel colour. Love the fit and design. Smaller than usual regarding the lens size, but this is outlined in the item description and specifically what I was after. Postage was quick and convenient, and packaging is fully recyclable. Good customer experience and would go back again in future!”

“Excellent product and customer service. Every detail about the sustainable packaging has been perfectly thought about, it looks great and is easily recycled. I ordered frames to try before ordering my glasses and sunglasses, this process was quick in delivery and easy to use. It also came with a very handy tool to measure pupil distance for prescription lenses. My sunglass were dispatched and arrived very quickly. My prescription glasses followed in just over a week (much quicker than I expected). The quality of the frames are excellent, I highly recommend Birds and will be purchasing future frames with them 😊”

“Trail glasses were a great help (I never really trust the virtual trying on of glasses to see if they suit you). Love that they were mostly unisex. Although I got a bit confused with the trial glasses available were sort of different to those in the 'womens' and 'mens' glasses sections of the website when it came to ordering the ones I liked. Ordering and providing prescription details was super easy. My glasses look great and I get lots of compliments. The main pull was your Bcorp certification but everything else is great too.”

“Please give these lovely specs a try. I opted to ‘try @ home’. Four frames were with me within 2 days. I tried them, bored my friends rigid with photos of me posing in them all. (Not all four at the same time. Obvz. That would be silly) Then ignored their advice and chose the pair I liked. Received them in another two days and returned the ‘try ons’ at the post office. Simple. Fast. No fuss. And they really are lovely. And seemingly strong so can sit on them and not be too concerned. Just buy some. LizzieC”
