“My goodness, never have I owned a pair of sunglasses that's made me feel like a Fashion Boss Lady Queen Ethical Fairy Godmother. I purchased two pairs with the intention to only keep one and I heard the Fates mockingly laughing at my naïveté; as soon as I laid my eyes upon both sunglasses, there was no paradox of choice because there was only One Choice: to keep both. “I originally went with Bird because of their ethical and environmental credentials and I was delighted with my first pair of prescription glasses which I bought around a year ago. They are lightweight, comfy and my vision is very clear - they even let me know about thinner lenses they could do for me (not available by default) because of my strong prescription. Recently I had a bit of a disaster and one of the arms on my glasses broke just before I was due to go on holiday. I reached out on email that evening and they really went above and beyond to help me. By the following afternoon a replacement arm was on its way to me (with a spare full frame just incase) with a courier! I was able to switch out the arm and all was well! What's more they only charged me for the next day postage. Truly excellent customer service - and thats so important when you really rely on your glasses. I've just ordered a second pair!”

“I ordered my glasses having tried them virtually and they arrived in 2 days amazingly. I’m extremely happy with them - although I knew I would be - having already owned some which sadly went astray recently in the bush while on safari in Africa. I can just imagine a lucky baboon looking very smooth wearing them now!! Thank you for the replacement pair!!”
