“I love my new sunglasses - having a slightly larger than average head it was great to find a range of frame sizes. As a family, we're always looking to making more sustainable choices. The wooden frame is quite unusual but feels so comfortable to wear. Just need to look after them now as my husband and daughter have already shown an interest!!”

“I had almost given up on getting my broken glasses repaired as my local optician said they couldn’t do it. Then I realised Birds offered this service. They repay them, as good as new, they day they received them and posted them straight back. Super fast and efficient, great service.”

“Great customer service. I needed a new prescription for my sunglasses but I wasn't sure whether to go for new frames and what types of lens would be best. The two people I was in contact with were very helpful and gave constructive advice with no hard sell. Went for the re-lens service which was good value, easy to manage and quick. Once I sent in my old sunglasses and prescription I was kept informed and had re-lensed frames in just over a week. Very pleased and impressed.”

“I love these well-made, neat, practical, stylish sunglasses so much but my absolutely favourite thing about them is they make a size for smaller faces - I have struggled all my life to find nice sunglasses which fit me, and birds smaller size are perfect!”

“I bought a pair of Kaka honey prescription glasses in May 2022, off the back of the sustainability ethos promoted by the company. They broke after a year - one of the arms fell off. I contacted the company but, nearly 3 months down the line, they have still not been formally repaired, the temporary repair we completed at home has failed and I have consequently ordered a new pair from another supplier. I absolutely will not be back to order again, which is a real shame as the company's philosophy is excellent, but the product quality and customer service has been poor. I'd upload a photo if I could, but apparently that function isn't working for me either.”

“Good prompt delivery. The glasses themselves are ok, and the case is very nice but I'm disappointed with the colour. I did expect a pure brushed aluminium finish, these appear to have some kind of dark grey metallic coating on them.”
