About Billingham:

Billingham are a family owned company, manufacturing camera bags for the world’s photographers since 1973 alongside a range of leisure and laptop bags. All bags are made in the West Midlands area of England, a region famous for manufacturing. A core reason for Billingham’s longevity is the fact that from the start, the Billingham family were determined that their products would always be made to the very highest standards from the best available materials to provide high levels of protection for their valued contents.

A notable feature of Billingham camera bags is that they are made from a distincive 3-layer waterpoof canvas that never needs reproofing. They also feature genuine top grain leather and solid brass details.

“I bought one of the original Hadley bags back in the late 80s and loved its style, slim design and robustness. As my career progressed I ended up investing a lot of money in Canon equipment - most of which was too large for this bag. But, after 30 years, I recently sold all my Canon gear in exchange for the smaller/lighter 4/3 camera format Olympus Systems OM1 - which is a perfect fit for this bag. However, after 30+ years, the internal padding had perished - but I was thrilled to discover that Billingham was still operating - producing its bags in the UK, - but that it had the exact replacement in stock. I ordered it online and it arrived, in Sydney, in less than a week. Excellent service.”

“Nothing short of sensational Billingham fix the bag I didn’t even charge me, as They thought it shouldn’t have failed, so They put two new studs in at no cost and returned the bag in superb condition In a box and condition bag superb nothing short of fantastic I highly recommend Billingham and their after sales service is exemplary”

“I have 6 Billingham bags so my belief in their quality goes without saying. I've recently switched to a small camera instead of the DSLRsi used to struggle with. This is perfect for a Leica, micro four thirds etc. no matter what lens is attached, the Airline model is quite deep.”

“I have an old Billingham bag, it's seen some use and looks like it's been used by Kate Adie as her go bag. The outer of the bag was worn but fine but the internals worn and shabby, the base board was no longer rigid or particularly padded so I ordered a new on. Delivery was good, the items as described and fitted perfectly. Now with another couple of replacement dividers I have the ideal bag for one DSLR a couple of lenses and two small DJI drones with accessories. Excellent bag, worth every penny and now good for another decade or two.”

“Great all round travel bag. Would be great if there was an optional interior for when the foam liner is removed and the bag used purely for travel, with a zipper on one internal side and pockets on the other, attached to the press studs. Similar to the Billingham briefcase, to allow documents to be kept safe.”

“Used the custom colour service for the first time and overall the experience was great and only took two weeks. I went for a 445 bag in imperial blue and it’s stunning. Certainly won’t lose it easily! There was personal email service and everything was easy but I wasn’t able to deviate from standard at all and would have liked a couple of images of my “special” bag in production. Maybe a little more personalisation is something that could be investigated, especially when the production line is being held to change colours. Really love this bag and the care and attention that came with it as standard. I also bought a pair of matching delta pockets that were in stock, and had my choice of orange interior partitions! I’d say the customisation charge is a real bargain and I may well use it again. Thanks Billingham.”

“I bought these to replace inserts in my Billingham bag I have had from new, purchased in early 1980's. It is a 300 series bag that is still going strong, excellent build quality, however, after 40 years of use the sponge in the original inserts had finally given up the ghost and disintegrated”
