Now that I know how to maintenance my unit I find that I cant do without it. I have to continually readdress the temperatures etc.

Love this machine though the annual subscription I think is a bit expensive. Recently bought a cleaning kit. Because the plug at the top is plastic and tight the Allen key just spins in it now - it’s meant to be two use but I won’t be able to use it again without some effort. Also it’s now starting to leak from the bottom. Haven’t yet worked out why.

i love my bibo blue water bar so happy that i bibo agreed to remove my virgin pure one for this its so much better that the screen is now on the front and not inside it dont take to long to boil water after sleep mode and keeps the water cold so if i ever need to refill my water bottle its ready am yet to change the filter in 6 mounts but from what ive seen it looks so much easier to remove then what the virgin filter was to remove as you just twist and remove as the virgin was pull and aways got stuck staff aways seem happy to answer questions that i have about the bibo :) i do recommend getting one of these if you looking for a water bar

Quite a good machine providing hot or cold water. It’s looks quite sleek too. It gives hot and cold filtered water. Isn’t that what hot and cold taps used to do? Yes but this is hotter and colder and filtered. And with a lot more buttons and no taps. Taps used to be very intuitive. On, off, hot and cold were all the parameters and so almost anyone could switch them on and off and get the temperature they sought. Not the Bibo. It has lots of buttons with obscure pictograms on them. The buttons don’t always work so it’s good to put it on drainer board and to have a cut off switch nearby. I like the Bibo but they could get rid of all the buttons and replace them with taps.

have had this unit for about four years, mostly very happy with it, just need to keep on top of the descaling schedule, it is difficult to keep it clean and needs constant work. However I would not like to be without it.I would take out maintenance insurance if the price was not so ridiculous.

The Bibo is better than boiling water in a kettle. It's instant hot and cold water which tastes better than the tap water. It has given us a few problems in the past but all repairs have been quick and without any cost. The instructions for cleaning the hot tank could be better. (Note 8. in the preparation) I followed the instructions and the cleaning solution frothed up and overflowed. This caused a fault. I now turn the water off at the back of the Bibo and it stops the water flowing back into the tank. I then turn the water back on after the solution has been put in. The outside of the nozzle builds up with scale and appears to be rusty. The staff at Bibo are very friendly and efficient.

The machine has been excellent over the the years I have had it, a few things to note though. The cost of the replacement cartridges is high. The cost of the cleaning fluid is very high, and the robustness of the cleaning cartridge leaves one to think it was made with a limited life span as the filler "plug" could have been designed far better than it is and would therefore not broken down as certain plastics do! Could have been made of a different material and saved me £39 for basically a very small plastic plug!!!

First of all, the folks at Bibo were great. The product arrived next day delivery, a bit of a glitch with the set up as the 'menu' button refused to work properly. A quick call got an instant response, the promise of a technician call within 2-3 days. Unfortunately he turned up with the wrong part! Not his fault, as the innards of the BIBO unit had changed! An update meant an improved control unit was required. The correct replacement unit was sent to me over the weekend and the technician returned the next day to instal. All working near perfectly now. The handbook refers to a hard water test that should have accompanied the unit, but no sign of it, even after an email request. The unit means a new level of convenience - instant hot/cold water - no more noisy boiling kettles! Overall happy with the purchase!

Am still using my BIBO Classic but the cost of filters and de scaling bottles is becoming close to where we can’t afford it and when that happens we will have to give up using it.

We inherited this nearly 3 years ago when we moved house very good bit of kit. Lovely to have cold filtered water at the touch of a button.

A little delayed in posting filters, also we seem to need cleaner for hot water too now!

The BIBO machine is very easy to use and give you a good quality of water. The only minus is the maintenance site. I do it every few months and always need an instruction. It is not very intuitive.

We live in a hard water area and the tap water does not taste particularly good. It is so convenient to be able to get different temperatures of water from the Bibo and it is so easy to look after.

We have used our machine for 6 years and it has become part of our life. We enjoy the availability of hot water for drinks and cooking, our grandchildren love helping themselves to cool drinks. Generally very reliable, staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Since we have our machine in a kitchen/dining room, we would appreciate a quieter operation but we would not want to be without our Bibo

It is true that if you don't have it you can't see the need, but when you have it and can't use it you miss it! Just drops a star due to the overflow dish having a very small capacity/no full indicator except when it overflows!

I think the product is fantastic, the customer service is quite slow but great when you actually ring up and speak to Molly. I really wish they would sell the 1 litre bottles separately.
