“Very unhappy with this company. I purchased a replacement electric meter box door. In going through the payment process the page crashed and I did not receive an order confirmation on the website or by email. I went ahead with the second attempt to purchase and that went through. Having checked my banking the payment was taken twice. I contacted the company immediately after the paying to explain (clearly unavoidable my end and problem being at their end) they responded quickly and explained I could not get a refund until I had received both replacement doors and sent it back which seemed odd to me but I followed their instruction. Having received both replacement doors I contact the company that day for instructions on how to return and get a refund. I have sent 4 emails with no response. I find it strange how they responded so quickly previously but now seem uninterested when I want my money back. Clearly this company is happy to keep my money for a product I did not want. Do not purchase from them”

“This company provides superb service at every level. Comprehensive stock, good prices, next day delivery, and brilliant customer service if ever you need help. Out of many orders over the years, only one was slightly delayed, and that was not the fault of BES, it was the fault of the courier company. However, despite the problem not being made by BES, Dave M of BES sorted the issue for me within minutes. Not only did he sort the courier company, but he arranged a repeat delivery as a back up. I cannot commend the service more highly. BES is run with good traditional British service. Long may it continue, and be an example to others.”

“I can honestly say this has been one of the best companies I’ve dealt with. Large selection of goods at very reasonable prices. Polite, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Goods delivered on day stated and absolutely no problem returning goods and quick refund of monies. I would highly recommend this company.”

“It's beyond me how an expensive item item like a gas analyser was delivered to me in inadequate packaging which cause the analyser probe to penetrate, and stick out of, the manufacturer's box. The analyser itself was in it's own cardboard carton (like a display carton), within the big box, and this was also burst. Who knows if the brown tape on the Kane box was original or not. Who knows what the small piece of anti-static bubblewrap was for, as it was loose in the box and not protecting the analyser. It seems unusual that Kane would send out a product, to BES, in such poor packaging. Let's hope it works and continues to work because that's kinda important to me.”
