“BES are hard to beat. If you're up against it, you can order till late and still get deliveries the following morning - to site if necessary. Their prices are excellent, as is their product range - which includes both branded and non-branded products. We'll always try BES first for urgent and non-urgent plumbing supplies, and the very few problems we've had over many years have been sorted within minutes of making contact. I recommend BES to colleagues and clients all the time.”

“Diabolical service DPD couldnt deliver yet 20 other companies find a way by leaving parcel in a safe place or neighbour.Got card saying i had a week to collect from local parcel shop ,i went the next day and DPD for some reason that day had collected it and returned it to their depot Rang BES lady seemed clueless and said when parcel got back to them they would refund,a week later i get a call from BES saying parcel had been redilivered to same parcel shop and hard to believe had been recollected and returned to their depoti am told i will get refund when they get the parcel back all of £23 worth they are dire i will not be using them again.”

Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry for what happened. Thankfully instances like this are rare. “Royal Mail let us down, I was going to have to cancel a job because I was waiting for the fitting from BES. I called them 2 days before the job date, they dispatched a replacement immediately via DPD at no extra charge, it arrived within 24 hrs and the job could go ahead. Why would I go anywhere else with such great service?”

“BES are a remarkable company and I’m so glad we found them We called them on Friday evening expecting to have to leave a voice message - at 6.45 they answered and politely took our order and explained it would be despatched that evening! It arrived at midday on Saturday When the package was opened on Monday one item was damaged but the packaging proved it had been damaged at the manufacturer not at BES I called and was immediately offered a replacement or a credit note and the replacement arrived midday on Tuesday Awesome service”

“Bought a 1" suction hose. About half the price of the competition. Charged about £4 for delivery (again, about half the price of the competition). Placed order by phone on a Sunday (impressive that they were operating on a Sunday). The hose arrived before 10 am on Monday! Not even Amazon can do this. All fitted and working by 1045. Absolutely faultless. Delighted.”

“I recently placed a small order for a small coil of 20mm water pipe. My order was processed and delivered to my door in 14 hours. I received a total of 6 customer service order delivery and status emails, 4 from B.E.S and two from the companies preferred Courier DX. A 7th final email was a detailed invoice. Super impressed and highly recommended.”

“Website is terrible, very slow and erratic. To order a dozen items took over an hour, totally unacceptable. It has never been a great website but seems to have got progressively worse over time. Because of this I only go to BES if I cant find the products I am looking for elsewhere.”

“Refused a refund. As the email states, as soon as they receive the item, they will refund. But I called them today. They said that they received it but sent for manufacturer for assessment. Complete misguided and cowboys.”

“The company and catalogue are great, easy to deal with accurate and fast. HOWEVER the website which always was a duplicate of the great catalogue, is now USELESS and UNUSABLE. I have dealt with BES for very many years as an account holder and have given up with the website. I have complained many times but to no avail. Disapointed.”
