Very poor service. I ordered a thermal camera at a cost of over £700 for next day delivery. It turns out they didn’t have it in stock and so I missed my appointment with my client to use the camera and then when I asked for a refund it took them 8 days to return the money meaning I couldn’t buy another one from somewhere else. Really poor service.

Ordered a few times with BES. First few orders went fine, then I received a few copper joints with dents and scratches which ruled them unusable. I have now placed an order midday Thursday and paid £6 on an order that was about £8. Its Friday afternoon and I have been told I won't receive the item till Monday and you refuse to refund all or part of the delivery fee. Unacceptable when you need the parts quickly and you charge £6 delivery.

Please note that the majority of deliveries do arrive 'next day' but we never guarantee next day delivery. Our delivery charge is £4.95 plus VAT and it is FREE for all orders over £50. Very unimpressed - they use a useless courier service - UPS - which impacts on them as a company - next working day items which still haven't been delivered 2 days later and might get it tomorrow - who knows! But it was needed the next working day! Also apparently you can't raise a complaint with BES because the customer services department doesn't have a complaint policy! And even when you say it is a complaint and and you want it escalated to a Manager they still ignore the fact it is a complaint and that you aren't happy and just reiterate what you already know - you might get it sometime in the future when the UPS man hasn't got so many deliveries that he might not just say he couldn't find your house (which is on the main A road!!) and go home, didn't think to call or google map it. I'll be leaving the same review with UPS.

Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry to hear that your goods have been delayed slightly. Thankfully these occurrences are rare, which is why BES use UPS, a globally recognised courier. We meet regularly with UPS to assess their service levels. Please note it is simply not true "that you can't raise a complaint with BES because the customer services department doesn't have a complaint policy!" BES actually have a dedicated customer services team that assist with all manner of service related instances to make our service standards as high as possible.. Appalling misuse of customer data - received an invoice for equipment I hadn't ordered - invoiced to an address which was 5 years out of date - but linked to where I used to live 12 years ago! Dismissive Customer Service - "it's an IT problem" BE CAREFUL IF YOU USE THEM

Ordered two 600mm long flexi pipes. Each had been kinked flat twice in order to fit them into a 220mm box for delivery. Plumber would not use them for fear they would burst. My first and last order with BES ! Delivered on time, hence one star.

Rubbish service, too much charge including delivery, for one pvc pipe big cardboard but delivered open ended with missing parts. Than they send replacement part but the colour of reducer is completely different..don’t buy..

Ordered my part for next working day delivery, and paid extra for it to be delivered before 2pm, this was last Saturday. It is Friday and it still not here!! Went to another dealer and got the item next day!! When I called up to track this item the customer service agent said that it was UPS fault due to Black Friday and Christmas!

Thank you for your feedback Mr Petty. Sincere apologies but our courier notified us that they lost your parcel (this is very rare) and an investigation is ongoing. If the parcel is found please return to BES. Of course a full refund will be issued to you. Please note that your parcel was due for delivery Tuesday 30th November as per your original order confirmation and not Saturday as you state (plus we don't provide timed deliveries on Saturdays) We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused. Ordered a set of jaws for a REMS press fit tool. Jaws were faulty so I was told that a rep from REMS would contact me. I ordered another set of jaws as needed to get the job done on the basis the others would be refunded but apparently its a product that they try and fix/generally mess around with reps etc rather than just replace.  I was told it was my fault for ordering a replacement part rather than chasing the rep for a £100 part that was clearly faulty.  Never heard back about sorting out the issue. Appalling attitude.

We have investigated and note the following: *You purchased 1 x 22735 35mm Rems Tongs 21st June 2021 *You purchased the same part on 23rd June 2021 At the same time REMS left many messages with you so that a REMS representative could investigate your claim further but never got any response from you. (REMS is a specialist product & if there are ever any claims we always refer so they can deal direct & will often visit such is the level of their customer service) Over five months later you then telephoned one of the BES team today. As you know and as agreed we have arranged a collection so the item can be returned to REMS for assessment. As advised a credit will be issued if a fault is confirmed. Regards, BES

Paid for overnight Saturday delivery Phoned and confirmed overnight Saturday Assured it would arrive. No delivery !!! No contact details !! Had to cancel emergency repairs letting down an important client Not acceptable and not the first time this has happened

Please note that we never guarantee 'next day' delivery although long term we do achieve a 97% success rate. Ordered two 4 metre soil pipes on back order as we were advised on the phone that it would be about a week. Three weeks passed and they still didn't have a delivery date. We said we didn't mind what length they came in as long as they totalled to 8 metres. The first two people I spoke to were extremely uninterested, rude and unhelpful. The third time I called up they said they could do this but it totalled to more than twice as much as the original order. Surely they should have provided some discount out of curtesy for the inconvenience caused of waiting for an item for three weeks which was clearly never going to be in stock?

This is a shocking company! Leaving a company has never been so hard. We have had to pay over £400 to leave when we have only been with them a month. (We tried to cancel the contract withing 24hours but they continued to mess us around) We are still having issues now even though they happily took the money but are now claiming that we have not cancelled our contract!!!!!! Avoid at all costs ! To top it off we had calls from their sister company today. NO THANK YOU!

Absolute cowboy of a company, I have no idea how they have a 4* rating. I can only assume this is through fraudulent ratings. I wouldn't recommend BES to my worst enemy. Customer service has been appalling, their management of my data and other customers data is embarrassing (I was called a different company in correspondence numerous times). They also blocked my account from moving over when I terminated my contract and billed my usage from 4 kw/ph to 6.5 kw/ph whilst they made it impossible for me to move to my new supplier. After pointing out this obvious attempt of ramping up my bill and blocking my transition as a means of profiting further, they declined to reason why they blocked my account and demanded payment at the ridiculously increased rate. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER!!!

My experience was of an appalling lack of respect or honesty and a company using illegal tactics. It was an utter, unmitigated experience from hell! When there was a duspute, a heavy was sent around to loudly and verbally abuse me, to the extent that I had to throw him out and warn him that if he ever came back the police would be called. It worked.
