“I had a Raymond Weil watch which is my mum's watch. It was broken, and she has dementia, is in a care home and no idea how she broke the metal bracelet, but the watch is important to her. 95% of my jewelery came from Berrys in Hull, and as I was in Newcastle yesterday I went in to ask if they could help or suggest what to do. Lee Davis served me and he gave me the best customer service I think I've had in a long time. He suggested writing to the manufacturer, then just asked if the watch was loose on mum's wrist. It's very loose - so he suggested something, I agreed, he took it away, took a pin out of one of the existing links and used it to repair the bracelet. He also noticed the time was wrong and that some of the crystals were loose, which might have been stopping the hands moving. But, just in case, he popped a battery in, brought the tiny crystals back, the link and put it all in a black fabric bag for me. I had my purse out ready to pay, but he would not take a penny. Just said he was passing on kindness. It was at that point I had tears. What a kind man. It just reinforced everything I feel about Berrys. Lee Davis, you are a complete, absolute embodiment of good customer service and a kind hearted person. Being able to wear her watch again will mean worlds to my mum. Thank you.”

“Fantastic! From the outset Lee was an absolute star, he was easy to talk to, had genuine customer service and his overall knowledge was impressive without pressure ..he put us at ease. I got the watch I really wanted, the whole experience was enjoyable and I was made to feel very welcome in store. “We visited the Newcastle store and every member of staff we met was pleasant, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Lee Davis the Watch Manager put us under no pressure, listened to what we were trying to do and got us to exactly where we wanted to be. “Excellent store. Won’t buy my watches and jewellery from anywhere else. Top class service. Recently order a Messika Paris ring, Georgina Barlow was amazing. “I recently exchanged a lovely IWC new Big Pilot's watch purchased by my wife as a gift from Berry's Newcastle, for a Panerai PAM1314 (something I've been chasing for a while now), but complicated matters by also ordering a new bracelet to be fitted to this. Lee and the team at Berry's have, as always, been amazing and worked very hard for me pushing Panerai relative to a delay in bracelet supply. I now have the watch and all it's accessories and am delighted with both the end product and the service received, having had great advice and support from Dave when I originally enquired and management of the purchase and delivery from Lee, right down to the last detail. I simply can't recommend Berry's and the team at Newcastle high enough - superb customer service, all the way through the journey, something which you rarely see these days!”
