Hi Katarzyna, I'm very sorry you're disappointed with your Pink Twist bear purchased from us. We'd really appreciate it if you could get in contact with us (either by phone on 01492 544 666 or email enquiries@bemybear.com) so we can chat to you about the points you have raised. First and foremost you mentioned that the bear you received arrived dirty, this is something that shouldn't happen as all of our bears arrived into our warehouse in a strong outer box and then packaged within plastic inside this, intended to stop any dirt or the elements from affecting our bears. In this case something has obviously gone awry and I'm very sorry about that. If you could possibly provide us with a photo showing this sent to enquiries@bemybear.com then we'd be more than happy to look into this for you and provide a replacement. The second point you raised regarding the legs being "completely flat" and "not filled" is actually part of the design for the bear you purchased (our Pink Twist bear). The description states that Pink Twist is "Made with 'swing' legs" which allows the bear to "sit on a flat surface or dangle her legs over the edge of a table or shelf". So in order for Pink Twist to be able to sit on a shelf the legs are purposely made to be flat at the back so they perform this function. I'm sorry you don't like this feature of the bear in question, this is one of the reasons we have our 30 day money back guarantee (https://www.bemybear.com/returns-policy/) which means you are able to return an item if you simply don't like it or have changed your mind. That way you are able to either choose a replacement (for instance one without swing-legs) or just receive a refund for your item as long as it is unused and in the condition it was received. “I have been a customer of Be My Bear for very many years and have always been greeted as a long lost friend and genuine interest in what I have been doing by the lovely helpful lady who answers the phone. No matter how small my order she is always helpful and suggests alternatives if she thinks it is helpful to me. Sadly, I now suffer from arthritis in my hands and my orders are very small, the last one was only just over the Mail postage. Thank you so much lovely lady! Jill”

“Kids enjoyed the bears, we had four children round for an after school tea party. They struggled with stuffing a bit and we had to do it but they seemed very happy with them and loved drawing on the T shirts. The bears were all a bit misshapen which didn't bother the six years olds but I think older kids might have been disappointed. Made the party memorable and I would recommend them.”

We are however sorry to hear you thought the bears were misshapen, the quality of our bears and animals are something we're always really proud, so it's always upsetting to hear something hasn't lived up to our high expectations. Occasionally we have seen bears and animals that appear a little misshapen due to being packed in a box, however they usually "fluff up" easily when being made and if this isn't the case this time we're really sorry. Could I ask that you send us a picture illustrating the issue to enquiries@bemybear.com so we could take a look? “Really pleased with the bears except for one where the stitching had already come apart before we used it. Also out of your control but delivery was slow when I had paid extra for it to be delivered within a certain timeframe.”

Hi Claire, Thank you for taking the time to review Be My Bear and offer your feedback, we're pleased you liked our bears but would like to apologise for the issues you seem to have experienced. We pride ourselves on the quality of our bears, however as with the nature of plush we do realise sometimes issues can arise with stitching problems as you seem to have experienced. If you are yet to hold your party and could possibly take a photograph of the problem and email it over to enquiries@bemybear.com we should be able to get a new bear out to you. I've also had a quick look into the delivery of your order, and I think the issue with delivery speed may have been due to your order being placed on a Friday evening. Our working hours are Monday - Thursday from 9am - 5pm and Friday from 9am - 4pm, so orders placed after 4pm on a Friday aren't processed until the following Monday. This is explained on our delivery information page, but I am recommending that our company also look at our site in general to see if we can make this clearer for visitors in the future. With regards to your comment about the damage to our delivery box, thank you firstly for bringing this to our attention. All of the orders which are dispatched from us here at Be My Bear go out in pristine condition, so we can only assume the box was damaged in transit.
