The mattress itself is lively but the whole process was shambles.

The ordering process is straightforward, with the ability to select a delivery date, options with 2 days. The communication regarding the delivery was great. The bed arrived as expected on Monday 27/3. The experience was very good until we opened the boxes the evening of 27/3 in readiness to start building the GFW Ottoman bed. Box 2 of 3 contained the foot of the bed which is integral to the bed build. This was damaged, looked poorly finished and scratched. I duly took a video and photos and forwarded the photos to Bed Factory on the evening of 27/3 in anticipation of a swift resolution. The response was prompt explaining they would contact GFW. I subsequently chased later in the day on 28/3 and was advised GFW had not yet come back to them and they would chase on 29/3. As promised an update was provided on the morning of 29/3 and a phone call attempted, but I was in work, to say we can build the bed and use the existing damaged part and a new part would be sent out, but NO explanation when this would be. I duly called Bed Direct to be told they cannot tell me delivery timelines as GFW were the suppliers. I explained I bought the bed from Bed Direct and that building the bed with the existing bed end would mean dismantling the bed completely to attach the new end. This is not acceptable… if a bed can be delivered in 3 days why can’t a damaged replacement part be delivered as quickly?. I was told 5 days but no confirmation or email with delivery confirmation information and Easter could impact these timings. There are couriers out there that can deliver next day why was this not offered. I currently have a product that is damaged with no confirmed timeframe for resolution. This is not acceptable at all we have visitors coming at Easter! It is such a shame, after service is so important.

I paid for a complete cube bed with a gas lift and they delivered a storage and lied that the wrapped one is a gas lift. I've been trying to call them for days now to no avail.. They are not picking and not calling back..I think they scammed me of my hard earned money.And I paid so heavily for it.

Worst company I have dealt with no communication no delivery on time, tried phoning, no answer, want to cancel, don't know how, really just want my money back, needed the bed on time, wasted time waiting in for them, just do not trust this company customer service !!! what customer service?????????????????????

Bed good quality for the price but delivery company very poor. Delivery did not arrive on chosen day- a Friday. No service from either Bedsdirect or courier all weekend. No apology and Bedsdirect emailed to say the bed had arrived at the courier on time so they had fulfilled their obligation!! Will not be shopping with them again, great bed but buy it somewhere else

Our bed was not delivered when it was supposed to be. I never had any calls or messages to say there would be a delay, i had to contact them.

Very poor Ordered a pillow, found a few human hairs on the pillow, dirty smell and the bed frame is of poor quality.

Hi Mr Shea, please contact us so we can investigate the issue with the pillow. It should have been sealed from manufacturing so it's not something we're in control of. However we will certainly been feeding this back to the supplier, and would like to replace the pillow.

Bed was delivered with missing parts, then other parts were delivered only to find that they did not fit the bed we ordered. The bed is stood now in the spare room just taking up space and shortly will be have to the scrap man. Due to my daughter being desperate for her new bed in her new home I went and purchased a further bed from a proper company. Mr Walker Enville

Delivery date was moved as they didn't have 2 people available to deliver - despite 2 weeks notice. Delivery people made no effort to try and get it in a difficult space - tried to give up at first attempt Product was dirty and needed cleaning

Delivery was later than initially planned. When they delivered the bed, the person droping it at home initially refused to take it upstairs. It was only when I spoke with your office that he accepted and finally brought it up. Once installed we realised one of the drawers was broken (rails were detached and the body of the drawer was broken) and there were no holes for the hooks that joint both pieces of the base. We called your office and finally somebody (very professional) came to sort the bed out. Very disappointing!!!

Hi, we're really sorry for the broken drawer and rail. We're glad this was put right for you. If you have requested two man delivery then we can deliver to room of choice. However on occasion there won't be two drivers and with larger divan beds, and mattresses it may be unsafe for a single person to carry them upstairs.

Beds direct perfect shame about the delivery drivers, them self were polite BUT they marked my wall all the way up the stairs, did not provide protective sheeting down to protect me carpets at all, I'm now spending my day off repainting my hallway and deep cleaning my carpets so am out of pocket as just cost me £40 in carpet shampoo !!!!

Hi Miss Hayman, please accept our apology that our delivery service left marks on your carpet. As you can appreciate putting sheets down when carrying a bed upstairs could cause a potential trip or fall. We will however feed this back as their boots should at least be clean when entering your home. We appreciate your feedback.

Product was beautiful and was easy to put together. However the delivery men didn't put the bed where we asked and walked mud all through the house.

The bed itself is fine, however I paid for Saturday delivery. I received two separate deliveries on a Saturday but not the third containing my mattress so the Saturday deliveries were pointless. The mattress arrived two days later, which meant that I had to take half a day off work in order to receive it. The delivery company phoned me around 11 am, after texting me, to advise that the delivery would be between around 12 and 3. I got home around 12 to find that the mattress had been delivered around 11am to my neighbour. Luckily she was in as I received NO notification that this had been delivered. I am extremely disappointed in the way this order was handled. I realise that most of these issues relate to the delivery company used, however as my order was with you and you selected the delivery company, I hold the bed factory responsible and suggest that you re-think the delivery company you use. Not impressed.

Not happy about having to chase courier re delivery myself as your sales person said that couldn't get hold of them. With respect that was your problem as I paid a delivered cost. Even more not happy about having to take two days off work because courier returned the bed to the depot undelivered as he was (apparently) given the wrong address .

Bed Factory Direct were helpful is issuing a replacement bed once I discovered that the divan I ordered couldn't fit in the house, but they have taken the money for a mattress protector which has not been delivered. Could the money be refunded?

The first headboard arrived very quickly in two days on trying to attach the struts the left hand one would not attach properly sent a email straight away and left message on answer machine to sort out a replacement 17 days 6 emails 8 phone calls 2calls of will ring you back in 10 minutes and didn't finally a replacement was delivered and is now fitted I am very happy with the headboard but feel that the customer service was not very good at all

Ordered on the 06/01/16 a bed though yourself's to be supplied by Sealy beds, paid in full on the same day, the delivery date was the 29/01/16, on the 07/01/16 we changed the bed type to a updated one for the sole reason the bed i ordered was no longer available, on the 27/1/16 i rang yourself's to confirm time of delivery, you said you check and come back to me, the following day i got a call from Sealys, in a nut shell, the bed has not been manufactured due to Sealys not been able to contact me, i may have missed their calls, but no answer message was left and no e-mail received, Sealy then said it would be three more weeks before the bed would be available, i said i was going to cancel the order witch i did and a refund was received from yourself's, Sealy at one point asked me to contact the delivery driver because he would have the bed and holding it for delivery, (which was not true), i also said this should not be down to me to sort out, i got back to Seals and to the same person, she admitted what she told me about the delivery driver holding the bed was incorrect, some thing very strange about this order, i think its a bit more than a lack of communication, your staff were very helpfully and very polite, but there was a break down some where in the system, i got a new bed from Sealys last year through Benson's Beds, Benson's sorted every thing out in one go and what they said would happen with each stage of the order did, sorry i have now returned to Benson,s Beds. dave morris
