“Very fragile ... Very thin frame. Storage means the floor under the frame. That doesn't clearly state in the product description. Lifting the frame to use the under the frame is not smooth like in the description . Somebody has to keep it hold. Very very disappointed”

“The delivery was rubbish. I ordered a week in advance to make sure I got it on the day I needed it. Took a day off work etc and it never arrived but wasn't informed until that day.”

“The bed itself is lovely however i asked for the bed to be delivered on a friday and they tried to delivery it on monday and tuesday, both days i work and so my neighbour had to take it for me. I didn't put the bed up straight away and only recently have, but in the final stage i found that there were no slat holders and had to spend a further £40 to buy boards so i could lay the mattress on the bed. I have tried several times to ring bed factory direct to ask for some slat holders so i can have the proper base for my mattress however i have never been able to get through. So an extra £40 down and no slat holders :(”

“The staff at Bed Factory Direct are extremely helpful, and go out of their way to help. The reason the review was not "Very Good" was the third party courier company they used who lied to us about delivery and were not helpful at all. Hopefully the bed factory direct have found new couriers.”

“Delivery was good. The plastic plugs wouldn't fit into the holes when we put the bed together, so all the slats are loose under the mattress (the plugs are resting on top of the holes) but you can't see it. The bed looks good though.”

“Slightly alarmed when beds arrived with no mattress. However after a phone call it was explained that mattresses arrived separately - which it did about 40 minutes later with another carrier. Your telephone operator, Dean Kinsella, with whom I spoke before ordering online was most helpful and bothered to phone back in the afternoon of delivery to make sure I had received both.”

“When the headboard was ordered we had to choose a delivery date covenient to us. The day before we had a phone call to say that the headboard was not in stock now and that stock was expected in a few days. We did get a call to arrange delivery and it was delivered on the rerranged day. We are happy with the headboard”

“Deliver drivers at first would only assemble bed if we paid then £10 we refuse and said we would do this ourselves, They then said the would assemble for £5, again we refused, finally they said they would do it for free. again we refused and asked them to leave we are pleased with the bed and sales staff , but your carrier were very pushy in their attempt to get us to pay extra ...”

The role of this courier is simply to make the delivery. They do not have any authority from ourselves to request payment in any way from our customers. “We ordered a bed from "bed factory direct" who we had used before. The service was very prompt, the price was competitive and the bed sturdy, what more could we ask for. As we have used them before it speaks volumes that we were happy to use this company again!”
