“Our cello case was supposed to take ‘5 working days’ but was ordered on 22nd of July and arrived 22nd August 2022! It arrived faulty (we couldn’t open the zip) - but after over 20 emails later I was told by Helen ‘what did I expect for that money’ (£140 isn’t actually a small sum for many of us). I ended up, two months later, finally getting a promise of a refund - but only after threatening further action!!!! Disgraceful behaviour from a business. I am also a business - my customers are always right.”

“We ordered a faulty cello case (it has not been opened as the zip is blocked). We have written numerous emails and offered to send a video of the blocked zip - all to no avail. We only received one reply to about 7 emails. We have been waiting for the case to be collected and for a full refund. I have even had to shout at the lady, Helen, on the phone as she insists it left her shop in working order. I have been asking for a refund for two months. Nothing. I am absolutely furious and warned them a while ago I would have to leave such a review, as we need our money back! Her words to me were ‘you get what you pay for’ (!) and then she wondered why I hung up. I normally only leave good reviews, and have a business myself - but I just don’t know that I’m ever going to see my £140 again otherwise.”

“I ordered a violin tailpiece on the 20th of August 2022,it was not dispatched until 30th of August 2022,over a week after it was needed.My emails attempting to cancel the order were not answered,nor were my telephone calls on the 27th of August 2022.There was not an apology or explanation for the delay.I'm an 83 year old strokie left with an expensive item that I cannot dispose of!”

“On the 1/2 size bag the padding is only 12mm, not 20mm thick, and is very soft. The bow pocket as it stands is too flimsy to protect a bow but if you put the bow in the separate supplied cloth slip, and then reinforce the pocket with a strip of plywood or tubing, it will be all right. There are a lot of loose threads that will need trimming and sealing before they get caught in the zip. This bag will be fine for my purposes but if you want a bag to use on public transport you should pay a bit more for something more robust.”

“Premise: I live in Sardinia island (Italy). I ordered a product that is practically unavailable in all of Europe and it arrived home in just over a week. Everything perfect except for shipping and customs fees for a 10 € cable I paid a total of almost 50 €. God save the Queen and Bassbags”

“The responses I got to my enquiries, email and telecon., were great. The advice I got was more than helpful. The product (an expensive little practice amp) and delivery lived up to expectations. In a fortnight or so I'm going to place another couple of orders. Bass Bags is a proper good outfit - I'd recommend them. JL”

“I ordered strings online, which was very easy and paid for them, very easy. I then found that I had ordered the wrong strings, so I emailed and received a speedy reply from Helen who sorted everything out without any fuss. The strings arrived promptly.
