having left things a bit late for Christmas this year, wanting to send a "non-alcoholic" hamper to my elderly parents, I came across Baskets Galore, by chance, on Sunday 20 December. I used the on line chat to make sure I was in time for delivery and was advised I was and then it was just making a choice. The Artisan Fayre hamper was received in good time and I am advised was delicious. In all a very good service and I would not hesitate to use Baskets Galore again or recommend them. Many thanks.

The basket order was for delivery on 22 December. It was delivered 20 December WITHOUT ANY INDICATION OF WHO IT WAS FROM AND WITHOUT THE MESSAGE I HAD STIPULATED. As I ordered this from Australia for a delivery in LONDOn, the experience left me very unhappy and I had to get in touch with the recipient to find out if the basket had arrived as I had had no acknowledgement of its safe delivery. NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE...

Dear Elizabeth. We are very sorry to learn of your disappointment. Your Basket was dispatched by ourselves on Friday 19th with an anticipated delivery date of 21st/22nd December. We are very sorry that the delivery company delivered it early on Sunday 20th, as the depot was running at maximum capacity. The gift card message is enclosed on a green gift card on the outer delivery carton beside the address label with "Gift Message Enclosed Here" text. We take great care to ensure that all our parcels have this attached. It may be possible that the recipient neglected to notice the card. I ordered this a bit late and wasn't sure it would arrive by Christmas but I was wrong. It arrived before the big day and was well received and enjoyed by all - excellent service, excellent products. Thank you :)

Hi, Basket arrived in good time and recipients were very happy with the contents. You noted I inadvertently hadn’t put a gift message with the basket, which enabled me to remediate the oversight. My Aunt was delighted with her hamper and she really enjoyed the wonderful variety of items. The delivery service was excellent. I also received a Baskets Galore hamper at Christmas and it is great. Really looking forward to eating all the goodies. I will certainly be ordering again at another time.

Ordering was easy However, I still don't know if my gift was received in time for Christmas, despite paying for express delivery. I was informed after I ordered and paid, that delivery times could not be guaranteed - not very good considering it's a Christmas present. Your email states that I can track my delivery but the only info I can get is that my order has been dispatched - on the date I was led to believe it should be delivered. Not happy about this.

Hi Deb. I can see that delivery was made at lunchtime on 22nd Dec less than 48 hours of your order being placed on Sunday 20th. This is also the date you had selected as your preferred delivery date. We do provide a dispatch notification via email that enables you to track the delivery progress of your order, or you can also track the order via your account. I wish I could be on the receiving end of your service, rather than the purchasing end! My niece, the lucky recipient of your cheese basket, raved about it, noting in particular the great selection in the basket. Thank you for helping me bridge the 12000 miles at Christmas.

3 orders placed and recipients all very pleased. Tracking was excellent and confirmed the efficiency of the service. All delivered well within 24 hours of leaving Bangor. We ordered on line from Australia and initially tried as one order, but had to resort to 3 separate orders as initial process became difficult. Probably our problem in manipulating the website . Will not deter from useing Baskets Galore in future.

I ordered from you for the first time and couldn't be happier, I sent a Christmas Hamper to my Mother and not only did it arrive on time but was spectacular! She loved it and told me it made her feel like a kid at Christmas :) Thank you so much for your beautiful products and company for helping me to be with my parents in spirit if not in person :)

Hi Teresa, we were sorry to read this review having replied to your email this morning when our offices reopened. Delivery was in fact attempted on Christmas Eve, but unfortunately no-one was at home to sign for the gift. DHL then took the parcel back out yesterday, despite the bank holiday, and successfully delivered it. You can see all this information via your account. It would appear that you have NOT delivered my order to my brother and his family in the UK in time for Xmas I am VERY VERY disappointed my order number is 2405354 placed 20th December according to your website this should have been delivered by my requested delivery date and I paid for express postage Lynne Painter Australia 42405354

I order a number of gifts for family in Northern Ireland while I live in the States. The site offers a terrific diversity of options for gift giving and they arrive quickly to their destinations with absolutely no hassle. I would definitely use Baskets Galore for future gift giving.

My mother was extremely pleased with the hamper she received. I have found it very difficult to find one without wine and with plain food. As she is 92 she doesnt like 'fancy food' so the Christmas Traditional Celebration was perfect for her.

There are a few things that make their service excellent, especially when you have family in another country. You can use a foreign credit card and don't have to be a UK resident. They will ship your order directly to the recipient AND you can buy multiple items in one go with different shipping address for each item. On top of that you can specify a delivery date and the items actually turn up on time! It really does make Christmas far less stressful. Whilst I haven't tried one of the hampers myself I am reliably informed by my family members that all the food items are good quality and delicious. The only down-side is that they are popular around Christmas so if you want one of the less expensive baskets then you do need to place your order early.

Once through the slightly confusing order process, where Paypal appears to complete the order, but that requires a further confirmation on the web site, the process was impressively smooth. It was great to be able to order a hamper for delivery in Ireland from the UK and get very quick and relatively cheap, tracked delivery. Thanks.

The baskets were beautiful making it hard to choose the perfect one. My only issue was maybe you could make a vegetarian option. My Mother in Law does not eat meat and it would have been great to have the option to choose a hamper without pate. Other than that we were suitably impressed with our choices.
