“I use Basic to get some products I can't find outside Spain or which prices are too high. I would definitely recommend to buy their black pudding and the 500gr smoked paprika, it last very long although we use it almost every day and it's very good. I wish they sold Spanish sunflower seeds by Facundo Supremas and things like Cola Cao. I tried the hot chocolate powder but we were not so keen.”

“All food delivered was amazing however the delivery driver left our package on the front step. Didnt ring the doorbell despite someone being home and this would have been stolen had our neighbour not informed us it was there . Very disappointing delivery.”

“Prompt delivery. However, as always the box was far too large for the contents. Why don't you use smaller boxes. It is such a waste, and I do find it irritating. The fillet was a good size, but does require a bit of butchering as the sinew and fat on it needs dealing with.”

“I would certainly recommend Basco. The range of foods is now very good and reasonably priced so long as you spend £75+ and get your discount. Met a little difficulty establishing my entitlement to a discount probably due to a slightly disorganised website ordering process but that was efficiently resolved by a member of customer Services. The website needs a few little tweaks (e.g: pop-up boxes blocking text) but is fine on the whole. Really appreciated being able to talk to a person but couldn't get a reply from the online chatbox.”

“Iberico Secreto was wonderful thank you, a little less than 1kg (0.898) but enough for a special family meal. Iberian pate with cherries was delicious. I am keeping the Ox Chorizo for something special in the future. Thank you”

“Iberico Pork is my new addiction, brined in a solution of salt, sugar, red wine, thyme, purple sage, rosemary and garlic for 36 hours, lightly smoked for an hour then roasted. I defy anyone to serve a more delicious meat. :)) TV chefs eat your heart out!”
