This was our first order. DPD the delivery company left the box 200 metres away from the house on a public footpath I suggest you use another delivery company in future

It all sounds great on paper and the food is OK. I got two of their suckling pig loins and followed the instructions to the letter and the skin did not get anywhere near crispy on either of them which defeats the purpose. Also, some of the items I ordered were showing in stock but they just removed them from the dispatch note at the last moment and I had to scramble to find them elsewhere at a very short notice.

Fast and very good service but way too much package. I ordered a little ham stan and it came in a big box with lots of packaging. The ham stan box occupied about 10% of that box, which was filled by carton and packaging stuff. It would be great to have a smaller box with less package, a bit more sustainable and less wasteful. Thank you!

i bought a galacian sirloin of beef joint from you at a reduced price. i expected someting special but it was not as good as a joint from my local butcher with the cost being the same. nothing wrong with the taste but it was mostly tough to eat

Delivery was on time. However the steak wasn’t so rich and creamy as I’ve experienced in Spain. It had a funny almost chemical aftertaste. I’m disappointed.

Wasn’t sure if I should cook the croquettes I bought from frozen or not, rang few times to no avail, tried lots of times on your Chat link , didn’t happen , as a result the 30 croquettes I bought were binned , they tasted delicious annoyingly but couldn’t serve them at the party

These guys used to be really good. Food came packaged in insulated boxes with proper ice packs, and lots of them. Nothing defrosted on the way then. Unfortunately this is no longer the case. Last two deliveries I’ve had has not had insulation and just single ice packs. So all the frozen food was defrosted.

Unfortunately I wasn’t impressed with the latest delivery. Wasn’t the slightest frozen on delivery and couldn’t cut one decent steak from the whole fillet.

Every time I have ordered from basco over the years I have had absolutely first class service and first class meat. Unfortunately on this occasion my delivery arrived defrosted. Basco have however, offered to either replace or refund so although my delivery was a disappointment the customer service has been good.

I have generally been happy, but the last two deliveries have brought disappointment. Last week I contacted you to tell you that my croquetas had arrived defrosted, and you kindly sent replacements. However, these arrived as promised but in an enormous box - far too big for the contents - and these two weren't fully frozen. The box is just too big, which I think is part of the problem. Don't you have smaller ones for smaller orders? I then have to dispose of two enormous boxes and the 8 or 10 ice packs that came with them, which is inconvenient. The previous time, an item was missing, and this was sent out separately in an enormous box. It is such a waste!!

I understand how difficult and costly it must be to ship perishable goods. However, it did not offer as good value compared with Costco who offer great Spanish iberico hams, gespacho and cheeses.
