“Put a delivery date in the drop down box for 2 weeks time. The checkout then asked to confirm if express delivery or 3-5 days. As it was more than 2 weeks I didn’t see the need for express delivery. The date booked was ignored and the pig turned up a week early. Customer service non existent”

“I love your food, and your company,but you are being let down by your carrier. My stuff is always arriving completely unfrozen. They just leave it on the doorstep in the sun etc. I ordered some pork tapas, to try and then order more for Xmas but I cannot take the chance as always completely thawed out when I get it.”

“Prompt delivery. However, as always the box was far too large for the contents. Why don't you use smaller boxes. It is such a waste, and I do find it irritating. The fillet was a good size, but does require a bit of butchering as the sinew and fat on it needs dealing with.”

“I would certainly recommend Basco. The range of foods is now very good and reasonably priced so long as you spend £75+ and get your discount. Met a little difficulty establishing my entitlement to a discount probably due to a slightly disorganised website ordering process but that was efficiently resolved by a member of customer Services. The website needs a few little tweaks (e.g: pop-up boxes blocking text) but is fine on the whole. Really appreciated being able to talk to a person but couldn't get a reply from the online chatbox.”
