“Wow! This shop is like an Aladdins cave. I have walked past several times but only today did I venture into the little tardis like doorway. It's huge! I bought 6 items but still didn't have time to see everything because my parking ticket was expiring. So I'll be going back the next time I'm in York.”

“Excellent service from this delightful company! My item arrived on time, and was beautifully packed with Loads of protective wrapping! My only problem was with the item itself. The dial of the hotplate was totally impossible to read. The letters were not ledgeable at all, and I had to use my Phone torch to see them! Also, there was a large scratch on the steel. This was not any fault with Barnitts, but the manufacturer. I have had this make before, with no problem, but the dial numbers Are really quite a huge problem when cooking. Thank you for your efficient service. Lady Renee.”

“We ordered preserving jars from Barnitts via their website. I'm happy to say that they arrived quickly and well packed. They weren't the cheapest out there, but they have accurate stock checks so I knew that the jars were in stock before ordering. (Unlike other distributors who could not deliver!).”

“Ordered light fitting on line after seeing the range in the York store. Arrived on time and extremely well packaged. One of the shades was quite different in colour to the other two( because of the manufacturing process it did advise this in the accompanying leaflet). Despite this on contacting the store they were more than happy to exchange the shade. Would definitely use this site again.”
