The pole does NOT fit our existing 'concreted' hole. I did look to see on the web site but this info was nearly impossible to get hold of. This means I have to hunt around for some sort of insert - or dig the damn thing up - which will be a monumental task. You could argue that this is my own fault - although I will still contest that the info should be there. What is a disappointment is the height of the washing line. Its OK if you are a dwarf but otherwise very short - much shorter than my old washing line. It also feels less sturdy - although this remains to be seen if it is the case. All things considered - I would be reluctant to buy another brabantia. If you are a dwarf and like what appears to be a sub standard product just because it has the brabantia name - then Barnitts are a good company to deal with. They delivered double quick and I could not fault their service

Unfortunately my package did not have my name on it just my house name, fortunately I was aware it would be arriving, otherwise the delivery man would have been struggling to delivery as there are several properties with similar names under the same post code.

Was slightly irritated to receive an email after ordering, that the items I had purchased were out of stock. It would have been helpful to know this prior to ordering. However, my goods came well before the estimated arrival date which was a bonus.

Sent out the wrong item, the item then went out of stock so never received it. Refunded eventually, massive waste of time.

It took some time for order to be with barnitts but it arrives quickly once the item is with them. Our item got some damage on arrival but it was resolved satisfactorily.

it took about three weeks to get our order,simply because it was out of stock from the suppliers.however when the product came it was more than i expected,thank you barnitts.

Service was prompt and product was exactly as expected. The reason that I have only given a normal rating is that although the item, a Dunoon mug, arrived in one piece I think it was more by luck than judgement. Bubble wrap and a jiffy bag alone are little protection for a delicate product. Otherwise happy.

Delivery process was abit confusing. I got an email saying that my order had been sent out for delivery, but it hadn't as a date hadn't been agreed with the carrier. I think the email must have been a standard one.

After ordering in February there was a delay as 'out of stock'. Informed that stock should arrive one week later; still out of stock should arrive by 13th March. However no word and no goods after 3 weeks and emailed for update on my order. Informed order should arrive any day, in fact the following day I was informed the order was dispatched! Once dispatched the tracking system and arrival of goods within 24 hours was superb. Please 'flag' late orders and keep the customer informed.

If the company had been more proactive about letting me know when my order would be completed and dispatched, I would have given a better rating. Products were very well packed.

because item bought was unsuitable I decided to return it. However after repacking I found that royal mail would charge £6 to send it back. As the original cost was only £10 delivered I reluctantly decided to keep it. Will check costs of return before buying again.

Lovely product but bought believing it would be delivered a few days later when I'm fact it was out of stock. However when it did arrive, we were very pleased with it.

The items purchased were as described and generally satisfactory, we unfortunately were a small threaded stud short, the response from the company was swift, in the end we didn't need the piece to be delivered as we made a short stud up to join the handle to the brush, small bit of D.I.Y., and hopefully everybody is happy, guessing the length of the bolt stud proved a bit hit and miss but second attempt making it 10mm longer resolved the problem, but customers should rest assured that the products are of good quality !

the picture of the casserole was misleading as it looks oval, also in your write up you do not state, the shape of the casserole pot which can be very miss leading

The item I ordered was out of stock, and took 3 weeks to arrive, but that cannot be helped. Pleased with item once I had received it.

The ordering service was great. When we discovered that there were some paint chips on the furniture a discount was offered quickly. However we then realised that the bistro set that we had ordered was different to the photo on the Barnitts website! It had round chairs when the photo had square chairs!! Again the customer services were very good and arranged a courier to collect the goods and arranged a refund. So apart from not actually getting the product we wanted the service levels were good....

Product out of stock so had to wait ten days (although they did say this at the outset). But I saved £30, so it was a compromise I was happy with.
