“Wow! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS RETAILER. Not only was the sofa we received from them faulty, but they failed to keep to their promises of compensation and refund. We purchased from Barker and Stonehouse (trekking all the way from Reading to Guildford) and, what seemed like an amazing company to buy from at the time of sale, we soon realised that when a fault occurred, they just didn't want to know. It took months and multiples emails and phone calls and even after speaking to senior staff, we were left with a very bad experience. My daughter was injured from the faulty sofa, and missed out on her Birthday celebrations, and both my wife and I had to endure emotional frustration. Seriously, if you want to buy furniture where you know you will have satisfactory customer service, go elsewhere, just do not buy from Barker and Stonehouse!!”

“I have been ignored for a month after endless emails and phone calls. I have now been told my £250 per chairs which have faded from a rich tan brown to white are sun damage and there is nothing they can do, bearing in mind I am very upset about this, they then go on to say if your not happy with the chairs then buy some new ones. Customer service is shocking! My whole house is furnished from this store. Please avoid - furniture is expensive, not great quality and the customer service is non existent!!!!”

“Have not purchased anything from Barker & StoneHouse before and bought 2 chairs online. Decided to use their Click & Collect service from their Battersea showroom. BIG mistake, I wanted to move in! Their furniture is sublime, I struggled to leave with just my chairs. Very impressed with their service instore from the warm greeting from all of their staff to the kerbside collection. They even popped the chairs in my car boot too. I shall be back!”

“The delivery service at Barker & Stonehouse is second to none. We have used them a few times - most recently with a big heavy table that wouldn't fit through the doors. The lads (Graeme and Colin) solved the problem and got the table in the dining room with nee botha. Excellen service; all the packaging taken away; courtesy phonecall to say when they were due to arrive. It's all good. Very happy to recommend.”

“I wanted these chairs the moment I saw them. The delivery was quick and the quality was first rate. When they arrived they were perfect. I love them, but I knew I made the right choice when our CEO from the US came into the room they were in and was impressed with the look and feel. He has very exacting standards so I was happy they went down so well.”

“Products are always as described and the quality of the products I have purchased has so far been excellent. The delivery charge on small individual items such as a foot stool and side table on separate orders is on the top side and makes collection the only option.”

“Easy to use website and fantastic products, I got my 2 new sofas in the sale with 20% off and can?t wait to get them, it said 6 weeks when I ordered but is looking more like 3-4 weeks, can?t wait for them to arrive. Fab fast service and very easy to use the barker and stonehouse track my order part of the website”

“I have just received my replacement Barker & Stonehouse dining table after the previous being delivered damaged. I was very disappointed, however the Barker and Stonehouse team couldn’t be more apologetic and efficiently dealt with the issue. Steve & John have just delivered my replacement and couldn’t of been better! Extremely friendly and helpful.”
