Made order in November, still didn’t get it On website says 3 weeks delivery, as well it says that you can pickup it from one of warehouses Asked them in the end of December,- been told that will be delivered on January, now sometime in February and I have to pay for delivery Asked to pick up from our store in Nottingham because it hangs there on display,- not possible Not this, no that , sorry we can not do this and we can not do that Still waiting Will I use them again???

My new dining suite arrived on the correct date and correct time, two of the leather chairs showed small marks, I took pictures and made the delivery team aware and contacted customer services, the chairs were replaced very quickly with no quibbling

I ordered a couple of styles of pendant lights in November. One of the styles arrived and I had to chase the delivery of the other. 4 weeks later the second delivery was made. It was a replica of the first order. I now have to wait another 6 weeks for the order to be completed. Communication with customer service is swift but stock and delivery is poor to say the least.

Ordered a rug on-line. Product was great but colour wasn't quite right. Organised a return via the store a Birstall (Leeds). Great experience in-store with a no-hassle, free of charge return and refund (less original delivery charge which was fair enough). Service was great and staff excellent.

Quality of the sofa I ordered is fantastic, the most comfy thing I’ve sat on! Only thing that lets Barker & Stonehouse down was wait times…. Originally quoted 9 week wait time, then they called again to add another 5 week delay… Then they called again to say sofa was ready but they couldn’t deliver for another 2 weeks, with only one day available or another 2 week wait. I ended up hiring a man with a van to pick it up myself…. So if you can wait, totally worth it! Otherwise double the time they say!

Not only is the bench we bought the most stable, stylish and fun piece of furniture aorund the dining table, but the delivery was soo smooth - they took out all the packaging outside and brought just the bench into the house! A dreeeam for us who had moved homes and were overrun with packing boxes and empty boxes waiting for disposal

I ordered the Stanwick extendable dining table. The delivery was delayed, but Barker and Stonehouse kindly refunded the delivery cost as a gesture of goodwill which was gratefully received. The delivery team were great and put the table together very quickly. The extending mechanism is really good and easy to use. I've had the table for 3 months now and unfortunately, it marks really easy and now looks quite bad! I followed the care instructions and mopped up spillages straight away etc, but nevertheless, it is now stained and has to be permanently covered with a tablecloth. I contacted the company for advice but their reply was that it is classed as 'accidental damage' and suggested I contact their Homeserve team for a quote for cosmetic repair. This is very disappointing after only owning the table for 3 months. I therefore can't recommend this table and it's a shame that I was only offered to pay for restoration rather than the advice I asked for!

We ordered a table and chairs from the shop near the Metro Centre in Gateshead in February of this year. Five (yes five) tables later in October we have at last got a table that was not damaged in one way or another. I could not fault the staff we have dealt with but the build quality of the tables we have had has been very poor.

Both chairs are only “ok”. They are definitely not pink and very definitely brown. I look at them at different times of the day to see if pink comes through - but only brown. The velvet on edge of the arms of both chairs have been so squished that the nap will not come up so it looks like a cream flash around the edges of the arms. Also not the comfiest chairs I have ever owned. They’re ok if you just want a brown velvet chair to look at, but not to sit in for any length of time. If a bog standard brown velvet (not pink!) chair is what you are after, that you don’t want to sit in, in comfort, I’d go elsewhere for the same quality and standard, for less money.The delivery men were fantastic - very polite and professional.

Ordered bookcase & chair may 4th. Bookcase in stock but 13wk wait on chair. Wouldn’t deliver bookcase as that would be 2 deliveries & 2 charges & charge is extortionate at £69 each when Next split deliver for total charge of £8. Bookcase & chair arrived but 2 from 5 slate shelves were cracked. Customer service after initial call all by email and was offered £100 off a £549 bookcase to keep it with 2 cracked shelves, one unusable! Replacement not available. Collection was free and refund received promptly however extremely dissatisfied & disappointed overall

I find that the furniture from Barker and Stonehouse it’s such good quality which lasts, so it’s worth paying that little bit extra for it.
