“Bought a number of items from B&S, very happy with the quality and the store service. Only complaint was that one item was delivered broken and it took a couple of weeks to be fixed. That said their customer service is very helpful and easy to contact. They arranged for a replacement part rather than attempting to fix it.”

“Having just bought my first house I really wanted it to be perfect so where better to go than Barker & Stonehouse! And the quality of service was equal to the quality of their products, always a friendly voice on the end of the phone... I will always recommend! Now looking forward to my sofa coming in February!!”

“MOST Impressed - the bed came without a bit THEY rang ME to say was missing literally just after they had put the bed up (I was out) and then - they delivered the offending part within something like 24 hrs I think - cracking service that in my book!!! There are others that need to take a leaf out of theirs that's for sure!!! You never know - that might be enough to get me a voucher that I can use to spend even more brass with them :) but I mean every word.”

“In the end you get what you pay for. I spent more than I normally would for a chest of drawers but I'll enjoy them for the rest of my life and represent something one of my children may wish to have. In the long term a good investment and a joy to own.”

“The quality and diversity of the B&S range is fantastic - altho so many great possibilities does make it hard to choose! The online system is very nearly as user friendly as the staff in the stores. Delivery arrangements were straightforward, communications good - including a call 10 mins before they arrived. If I had to find a fault it would be that delivery takes around 2 weeks - but it's well with the wait.”

“I am so pleased with my Kimberly oak furniture l have many different pieces of it I'm satified with every one . I bought it on line and all went smoothly the only complaint l have is your charge for delivery it does push the price of the purchase up .”

“Saw this three drawer cabinet in their showroom and liked it. Staff very helpful and nice. Later we decided we would like to buy it, but, due to being busy, could not get back to the shop. Ordering online was very straightforward, delivery quick and easy, and the filing cabinet is of good quality for the price. Would buy from Barker and Stonehouse again, as they do good quality furniture.”

“Recently purchased Medium Flagstone Dining Table and six chairs which were sold by B&S at a very competitive price. Delivery was arranged swiftly and straightforwardly. Delivery drivers arrived early and couldn't have been more helpful. Were happy to take the delivery back if we had not have liked it at no charge - part of the service if you buy online (unlike other suppliers) but we absolutely loved the dining set, which exceeded expectations. Not the first time we have bought from B&S and won't be the last - really impressive quality and service.”

“I recently purchased some flagstone furniture online and in the meantime purchased some other pieces from the clearance outlet in Middlesborough. The delivery team co-ordinated the delivery of every item (6 in all)To Belford in Northumberland, all for forty pounds.Fantastic professional service.”

“The Table that I ordered is far more superior than the photograph that was displayed on the Website. The quality is second to none and I am delighted that the style of the Table means I can sit more people round the table using benches either side without compromising more space in the dinning room than I need to. Fantastic and really happy with my table that will last me a lifetime..”
