“I thoroughly enjoy shopping at B & S- the staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. The shop displays are always great for giving me new design ideas for my home and I love the quality of their furniture. A welcome change from John Lewis and Habitat shopping!”

“I ordered an item but on receipt of the item I found it had been wrongly advertised. I rang up and told them about their mistake and asked to speak to the CEO who got back in touch with me straight away and he had the web site altered within 24 hours to reflect the right description of the product that was for sale. Sadly it was not what I had wanted the material it was made from was advertised as Ceramic but when it arrived it was Fibre glass.”

“Originally had a long wait but noticed it came in stock online and asked why I was still waiting. They sorted the issue out straight away! Sofa arrived when arranged and delivery personnel were brilliant, we didn't think it was going to get in the living room but they kept trying till it went. They even took out old sofa for us.”

“I ordered online but had questions about a split delivery so I called customer service who looked into it and called me right back. The quality of the furniture was really good, and delivered by friendly drivers. They said I would get a text the night before with the delivery window, and a call when they were on their way, and I got both as promised. Impressed with both the quality and the service, and friendliness of the staff.”

“Bought these when on offer/sale to compliment the wardrobe and chest of drawers bought earlier in the year. Everything looks lovely together. Saved on delivery charge by collecting at store. Excellent communication and service at branch.”

“The furniture we have bought recently has been of a high quality and the delivery has been on time - very happy and would recommend them to friends and family. The "egg" chair is lovely and the quality of the Lidgate wooden furniture is gorgeous. Also very happy with the leather armchair.”

“Order piece of furniture to match existing items on line. The item was excellent value for money and I have been kept informed by the company as to its whereabouts in a very timely manner. I received text and email updates especially as I then took a while to go and collect. Upon collection the staff were extremely helpful in showing me to the correct place in the store and then directing me to where I could collect my item. Two members of staff then loaded it into my car for me. All staff were very helpful and polite. Thank you.”

“Purchased this table to go in our new dining room with existing upholstered dining chairs. The table is solidly made and the wood block design gives a really natural finish. Really pleased with this table, it's even better than you can gauge from the online photos. Would have given 5 stars for barker and storehouse service, however, had to call them about allocated delivery date being after Xmas when item had been sold in the 'delivery before Xmas' promotion. Transpired the additional leaf ordered was not in stock so they'd put the whole order back but a swift call to b&s explained the situation and they delivered the table within 10 days. Great Response to our request.”

“Really good company to deal with. Love my new dining table but I am just as please to find a company that delivers to Scottish Highlands with their own drivers and at a really reasonable price. I will absolutely be buying from them again, I already have a few pieces in my basket. ;)”

“I have wanted these chairs for years but on other websites they were nearly twice the price. came across this store on line and as we'll as the best price I did not have to wait 6 weeks for delivery they were here within 2 weeks. I just wish I had known about Barker and storehouse before ! I even emailed them on a Saturday with a stupid question about the transit protection and I got a reply immediately. For me excellent customer service, designer chairs but not designer prices.”
