“I ordered an online candelabra on the 31st December. When I had not received it 8 days later, I chased it up and the online response team said that it was in the factory. I waited a further two days and not having received it, I contacted the online centre again. I was told that it would be despatched that very day. I received it a day later. While being pleased to receive the long awaited candelabra, I hurriedly opened the box but noticed the item's brand was not on the box but another product's brand was displayed. All the pieces to the candelebra lay in the box full of protective fibre glass bits. I hurriedly dug my way through the box as if searching for a prize in a tombola. Having found the pieces to set up the candelabra, I discovered that not only was there no instructions to help me put the pieces together but one main piece, the base, was missing. I contacted the online help team and was advised to take it to my local Barker and Stonehouse store for help. I did so and found the sales asisstant incredibly helpful especially as he eventually found the last candelabra in the shop which, with advice from his supervisor, exchanged its base with mine. He then mounted my candelabra and I left the store an incredibly happy person with a quality home accessory. Thank you Barker and Stonehouse for alleviating a stressful situation if I had to return the Candelabra to its online home.”

“The product ( dining chairs ) is of excellent quality and the chairs were delivered carefully wrapped to avoid damage. B & S staff were courteous and helpful . 5 stars if delivery had been made on the stated day !”

“We ordered bunk beds from the store and were very pleasantly surprised when it became available for delivery well ahead of the expected date. Delivery was smooth and straightforward, and the bunk beds have been a huge hit with our children. They are solid, strong and have tons of storage incorporated so we love them too. Great experience and I'm sure we will shop with Barker & Stonehouse again.”

“The product arrived in good time and was what I ordered. They informed me of delivery and gave options to leave with neighbour etc. I was impressed by the way the courier took a picture of the neighbours house and that was sent as a message to my phone. Overall great experience and felt very well informed along the way which gave me confidence in them. Will definitely recommend and buy from them again.”
