“Ordering was so simple with the catalogue showing me exactly what I wanted. Was surprised when I was given an early delivery date. Delivery was arranged simply and to my convenience. I would definitely recommend Barker and Stonehouse to anyone who needs furniture!”

“Should have been delivered on Saturday but delivery drivers rang and delivered early. Nice and polite fellas who did what they could to help. Item wasn't quite perfect but still vey good quality and has enhanced our living room.”

“Barker and Stonehouse is always our first choice when selecting furnishings for our home. The staff are always very helpful and friendly. They may be slightly more expensive than some retailers but the quality of furniture speaks for itself. If you have any issues its quickly rectified. Collection of good from store is swift and trouble free and Delivered items always arrive when they say with great staff to build the furniture and for a small fee they will take your old items away. Great company and I wish more stores offered the fantastic service they do. Highly recommended.”

“Have trusted them for 30 years now to furnish our home beautifully. From our very first Michael Tyler leather suite which has only just been replaced to the current Stressless furniture. Lounge, dining room, bedroom and garden room all attract admiration from visitors. We wouldn't look anywhere else.”

“I had a few difficulties with the dispatch of my items, and then one turned up without the other. Then finally when the last item turned up it was broken. Over this period I have rang customer service about four times, everytime I have been extremely satisfied with the help I have received. I understand things don't always go to plan with delivery ect, but with the excellent team that dealt with all my problems it hardly seems to matter. Great customer service, very refreshing!!!”

“I ordered an Harris Tweed Ladies Chair which has a 8 week delivery period. The time scale was completed without any worries. The customer service keeping me informed on delivery was excellent. The van delivery staff were great and all in all it was a perfect experience and I recommend the whole process from ordering to delivery as perfect”

“Excellent communication meant we knew exactly what stage our order was at; we were contacted the day after the order was placed to arrange delivery. The two man delivery team were very friendly even after carrying our very heavy dining room table up to the third floor for us! Will definitely think of B&S first for any home things we need.”

“Ordered Kimberley panelled double bedframe and a 3 drawer bedside table. Both nicely finished, bed was trivial to assemble and very solid (so far) very pleased. Delivery men very helpful, quick and polite and rang with eta, which as it turned out was right at the start of the slot I had been advised (a first ever - Well done). Altogether a pleasant experience and will certainly consider using again.”

“We purchased the Indiana table and was delivered to us by 2 extremely pleasant men. They phoned before to give me a time and not only brought the table in but assembled the legs too. Very friendly service. The table is perfect and just what I wanted, I was worried as had not been able to view the table in the Leeds store, only a different style table in the range was available to see as a display piece. But I wasn't disappointed at all and fits in my room perfectly. I adore Barker & Stonehouse and have purchased our last few items of furniture from them. It's definitely our first choice and we can usually find exactly what we want. I love how they have introduced a few ranges now that are at the lower end of price range, but with the same quality and service. Thank you”

“Good in-store showrooms, well supplemented with leaflets & website material to take initial ideas home with, or revisit later. Staff in store were helpful, delivery team excellent, and everything worked as expected. Prices aren't cheap, but for good quality products, they're fair. Having to wait a few weeks for one item in my order, but I was informed of this at the point of ordering, so there were no surprises. Additionally, this was split into two separate deliveries at no extra cost.”
