I never received my item because the in stock date kept being pushed back. I eventually asked for a refund and received the wrong amount.

Item ordered September 2021. Wanted for Christmas. Had to call and request a refund in June 2022 as still could not give a delivery date. Very disappointingl

Waited a long time for delivery x when it finally came one of the couches was in the wrong material the order had been placed wrong now have to wait for the right one only to find out the wrong one had been ordered again so still waiting for correct couch to be delivered very poor service

Not happy with after service once our table was found to have a fault . I've had to chase new legs for 6 months after delivery and I'm still waiting to this day

Bought a high sleeper bed and when it came multiple elements were damaged or marked. Once replaced and the bed was built I noticed slightly different colours on the woodwork and have also found the paint is already starting to come off only a few months after purchase.

I'm unsure about where to begin. My partner and I have spent a considerable amount of money and the product hasn't always been as expected. We've had issues with my name and address and items being delivered to next door. Then I called and explained and they still kept the wrong name. The wardrobe/bed / chair were faulty. I had to have so many days at home to be in to meet the delivery man or the tech guys. We never once got a sorry, it's a disgrace and very disappointing. I couldn't even be bothered to complain about the bed but I did with the other items. And when I did complain, it took months to get the replacements. I didn't have a wardrobe because the pictures weren't sufficient and I had to wait for the tech guys to come out (another day off work) to basically tell me what I already knew; that the wardrobe was faulty. Again, no sorry at all.

I’ve been incredibly dissatisfied with Barker & Stonehouse for the following reasons: 1) The furniture we purchased had slight imperfections, which isn’t acceptable given the cost of the furniture. One of our bedside cabinets was so badly damaged that it had to be returned and replaced. 2) The delivery charge for furniture is not competitive in comparison to other major furniture shops. I don’t understand why free delivery isn’t offered when £100s is being spent on your items. Or the delivery fee should be more reasonable, £60 feels very high and it’s not even for next day delivery. 3) During a COVID-19 lockdown, one of your Customer Service Advisors told me on the phone that I would have to drive to a depot over an hour away from my home to collect an item of furniture. I couldn’t believe it. We will not be buying from Barker & Stonehouse again, poor quality control, confusing customer service experience and extortionate delivery fees.

Absolutely, shockingly terrible experience. Chairs didnt turn up when then should, no more than 2 weeks we were originally told, only to be told some will arrive 5 months late. 6 out of the 10 then arrived. When the remainder of the chairs arrived, months later, they were the wrong ones! Then I was told they have no more in stock. I was then called to say they are coming in a week as they found some. Booked the date for delivery only to be told a few days later they made a mistake and it will be months later for the remainder of the chairs to arrive. Still no clue when the rest of the chairs will arrive. After paying £1k for chairs to not be refunded the deliver charge AT LEAST and still have no idea when our chairs will arrive is just dreadful.

Item delivered was incomplete. B&S was unable to provide replacement part or replacement item. Took several weeks before finally deciding they needed to have item back and make a refund. Experience makes it unlikely I will buy from B&S online again

We ordered a dining table with an already ridiculously lengthy wait time of 26 weeks with a £70 delivery charge - ordered in January which I now deeply regret. It has been pushed back now for the second time with no absolute ETA. So the purchase was made and no goods to rate.

Ordered lamps in the black Friday sale said they were in stock (nov 2021) then i kept getting emails to say that there was delays. which is fine I understand with covid/brexit there may be delays with shipping abroad. Received the two lamps, both broken spoke to customer service who were very helpful to then re-deliver to lamps again which guess what was broken completely unusable. i then received a 3rd order in which they were broken completely given up and just chucked them as when you arrange a collection the courier doesn't show up which was again not their fault. Shame, as they were beautiful lamps and the customer service, was great but they do not check what is being sent.

Paid for an expensive table lamp twice, date was constantly put back, second time I purchased it, was because it said the lamp was in stock ready to deliver!!! Again it failed to arrive … every time I had to enquire where the lamp was, I wasn’t kept informed, sorry but felt really let down …

Sent out a broken vase from Warehouse knowing it was broken. I then had to go and collect one from warehouse. Unsure why they delivered a broken one when plenty in stock.
