“Dave and Jake turned up on the time specified. They asked us where we would like the mattress taken. They placed the mattress in our bedroom .They were extremely professional and really polite in manner. I wish all delivery personnel were as nice. They are a credit to Barker And Stonehouse. One again thanks to Dave and Jake 👍 from Kevin and Heike.”

“#very good service. I ordered a rug which, in the end, was not right for us. Barker and Stonehouse arranged for collection and refunded the appropriate amount with no fuss. I would happily shop with them again.”

“New sofa arrived. Delivery team excellent. Unpacked box which the sofa was in. Faults to leather.contacted customer service they were excellent. Problem resolved the same day. For over 35 years I have purchased many items from barker and stonehouse. You pay a premium but its worth it Top quality furniture. And top quality Customer care. What more can i say. “The Sideboard was as I expected. The delivery was not. It was not clear from the original website listing that this piece arrives in 2 pieces. The delivery crew certainly weren?t aware and I had to chase them down the road to retrieve the stone top which it was clear was missing once I?d unboxed the huge sideboard - the delivery crew insisted they ?weren?t allowed to?. The stone top comes packed in a heavy wooden crate and I had to enlist the (paid) help of a local removal firm to help me unscrew the giant crate and lift the heavy stone stop into position. All in all, a disappointing experience. Be aware if you live alone (even if you are healthy and strong like me) you will need help to unscrew the large heavy wooden crate to get to the stone top and an extra pair of hands or two to lift it. The delivery crew of two strong men do nothing more than dump it in your home.”

“I was so surprised of the quality - my daughter-in law was tasked to find me a table, very similar to one I had found on another site, but at a cheaper price. I have to say when she find it we were a little nervous, as it was 1/2 the price but her sister had used you before so we went for it! I couldn't be any happier - the service and the quality of the table is so good, to the table extends and it is such a smooth action that it is usually when you find the difference. However 1/2 the price and if anything a better quality - I will definitely be using Barker and Stone house again and will be recommending them! Thank you to you all.”

“Love the Hix chairs, we already had ordered a table with four of the chairs and decided to get two more. The service and delivery was excellent and speedy, with a phone call to keep us informed. The chairs are really comfortable and look lovely in our kitchen.”

“Happy from start to finish. Communication regarding delivery was clear. There was an added delay by a number of weeks due to COVID, which was disappointing, but that is not their fault. When the product arrived, they were perfect and I was happy!”

“I cannot fault Barker and Stonehouse for their customer service. When I had a query it was answered immediately. My dining room chairs were delivered exactly when the said they would be. They are much admired by visitors and were an excellent price.”

“I ordered two chairs and two foot stools 22/10/20. eventually told they would be delivered on 4/10/21. Today I got a phone call to say they had lost them and would I like to REORDER THEM Give me strength _____ go anywhere but Barker and Stonehouse.”

“Good communication from Nottingham store regarding delayed delivery date due to issues regarding manufacturing of the bed - Made to order. I cannot fault the service I have received from B and S. Delivery drivers were very good and called me to confirm my delivery slot (2 hour window). The bed itself was very well made and I feel that the price I paid for it was reflected in the quality. Would have no hesitations buying from them again. Shame to see that the other reviews on here were not satisfactory- B and S obviously have issues which need addressing.”
