“Lovely desk…BUT…as usual customer service is B&S’s weak point. Delivery driver blatantly couldn’t be bothered delivering the item, judging by his tone when he called me when trying to find our house. They got it up the stairs and then proclaimed it wouldn’t fit through the door to the room it was going in. So he just left it upright on the landing. Not at all helpful when you have a 14-month old and a pregnant wife. In some scenarios this would be downright dangerous. It took me all of 10 minutes to work out how to get the item through the doorway without dismantling it.”

“Communication was very poor regarding my purchase. In the shop I was told it would be delivered within 1-2 weeks- it took about 6 months and I had to keep chasing them for information. Someone else's order was delivered to me (collected promptly) and when I again inquired about my own order I was sent a photo of this wrong order being delivered as "proof" I had received my order. Radio silence followed once again when I pointed out their mistake. I was promised emails and calls to keep me updated and none ever came. I probably wouldn't buy from them again”

“We recently took delivery of a damaged coffee table which was returned last month via your courier. Since then, we have not received any communication concerning the item for example that you have received it and that we wi be refunded.”

“Wouldn’t even give 1 star but sadly that’s the lowest. Ordered item and said 1 week delivery 2 weeks later still no sign of order or anything to mention a delay and emailed customer service with no response- called 3 times with a vague need to check with warehouse and no real reason why. 4 weeks after placing order it did arrive but communication was poor.”

“Purchased sofas and armchair Jan 2022, one 'in stock', other 2 made to order with 19 week lead time. Come 19weeks, further delay for 2 weeks due to supplier issues. Then at time of delivery, B&S found that the sofa 'in stock' was no longer in stock and would therefore need to be made to order, a further 13 weeks delay.”

“Despite the green claims when a chair broke I was unable to buy the replacement legs only despite the fact that the seat of the chair and the legs are separate items and put together at home. The company claims to be carbon neutral if they want green credibility they shouldn't deal with suppliers who do not share their values. I had to buy a new kitchen chair and throw the seat section away even though it was perfectly good just because they couldn't supply the legs separately”

“The product is great (4 seater table with built-in fire pit). Good quality and well made. The seats are really comfortable too. However, I also bought an outdoor cover and this took ages to deliver (compared to the furniture) and this wasn't specified when I placed the order. The cover is also really expensive for what it is - you can buy similar alternatives for less than half the price.”

“Purchase was a complete nightmare with delays and lack of communication. One sofa was ripped. However at this point the customer service was really efficient and smooth. Hopefully B&S is restored it’s reputation”
