“I bought a antique leather tub chair on line. The service was excellent, I was kept informed as to when my chair would arrive and given a delivery time. The chair arrived in the time slot allocated, the delivery driver couldn't have been more helpful and the chair was superb quality and I am thrilled with it. Thank you Barker and Stonehouse !”

“From order to delivery this company have been excellent. Communication was really good, with emailed delivery information. Given a time slot and the company delivery driver called when they were about 20 minutes away. They arrived at the time they quoted. The delivery guys brought the furniture in to the house and placed where I wanted it which was great because it was really heavy. They put the legs on the table which unfortunately arrived with a dent on the side. No problem though, they sorted a replacement and delivered the following week allowing me to keep the damaged unit in the mean time. I was a bit wary of ordering without seeing the furniture in the flesh first, but couldn't be happier. Lovely solid walnut furniture - much better quality than I could have imagined and in the sale!”

“This was our first experience of the Company. We visited the showroom at Knaresborough and looked around. Staff there were knowledgeable and helpful without being at all intrusive. We had a coffee in the restaurant area called "Stanley's" which was easily the best experience of an in-store restaurant ever and talked over the possible purchases. Having reached a decision we placed the order on-line once we arrived home. The website was excellently set out and easy to use. After sales was good via e-mail. Delivery was fixed. On the day the delivery men telephoned indicating they would arrive in approximately half an hour and did so. Delivery was completed with no difficulty and packaging removed as promised. The whole process went without a hitch. Barker and Stonehouse are highly recommended.”

“Although a little pricey, I find the products in barker and stone house exceed those of other furniture stores. They have mixture of styles and designs and I was able to pretty much find most of the large furnishings for my new house in there. I've ordered from both online and in store as I have one very close to me. Online they have all the stock available in store which is good for the accessories side of things but I would recommend going in branch for latger furnishings. The sales assistant Maddie also explained everything in detail when it came to understanding the product I needed as well as giving her own personal opinion on what I was looking at which I always appreciate. Great products and great service, I'll be definitely going back again when I need anything else.”

“Have bought 3 sofas from B&S and we love them. So far the quality hasn't change and we feel we have unique sofas. On the second purchase the sales assistance was quite slow and unclear at times. I have already recommend them to many friends and will go back for more furniture!”

“I rate the in-store service at Battersea very highly . We found exactly the furniture we wanted and the staff took pains to help with measurements etc. This made delivery easy. I also rate the on-line service, though the order tracking system could provide more detail.”
