“Easy to purchase online and collect at our local store... social distancing in place which was a great bonus. I did phone customer service team as wasn't sure from the email sent if the mirror could be collected straight away or if they would message me to say its ready to collect. The mirror is great and such a statement piece that I was after. Just need lockdown to be lifted for friends and family to complement me on my new purchase”

“The Battersea store is a real haven, full of beautiful furniture and accessories...I can't wait for its cafe to reopen too. Bought a mirror from here lately, looks gorgeous, our only criticism is that there were no instructions or fixings included for hanging it, and it was not straight forward to do so at all. The integrated loops for hanging it were not symmetrical and it took several hours and drilled holes to get it right.”

“I am so pleased with the lamp I ordered over the Black Friday weekend. I made an error on the order plus the discount didn?t work. The error was picked up and I was contacted quickly to request I make contact in order to correct it and the problem with the Black Friday discount was also corrected. Very impressed with good service- will hopefully use again.”

“Ordered some lovely new dining chairs and received a message to contact the team to arrange a delivery. There was an automated message that informed me calls were busy and I might be in for a wait. I was pleasantly surprised to have my call answered within a few minutes and they even apologised for the wait! The call handler was very pleasant and scheduled in my delivery, informing me of social distancing measures that were in place so I knew what to expect. Everything went exactly as expected, I got a message to say when my delivery window would be and call when they were in the way. The delivery team were professional and friendly and the items arrived in perfect condition. My only small niggle would be that once the delivery was scheduled an additional item appeared on the delivery confirmation and I had no idea what it was or whether I would be charged for it. This additional item did not appear with my delivery so I assume it was some sort of error but did lead to a lot of confusion.”

“It was very easy to place an order. We placed the order based on having seen the sofa in the brighton store and we absolutely fell in love with it. The colour we chose is not the same as the display colour so we are really excited to see it! I also called up today to see where my order is at and the employee was very kind and helpful.”

“At all times but even through the Lockdown staff at Hove Barker & Stonehouse were really helpful. We ordered a few 'click & collect' items, which we always managed to get, plus we were loaned a leather sample book for a sofa we were looking at just before the lockdown. We are really pleased with the items we purchased, particularly a pair of Atlas Side Tables for our living room.”

“Ordering system very easy to use, updates to getting the order was fabulous the team were very friendly and helpful. Delivery team met all the guidelines and did everything as agreed, chair into the right room, packaging all taken away. Would definitely buy from barker and stonehouse again.”

“Barker and Stonehouse alway have something available which is just a little different and alway always stands out as been classy well.made and good value for money The service is also consistently exceptional even during the covid pandemic I have purchase via click and collect and been very satisfied with availability and service levels...slightly more expensive than the run of the mill furniture but good quality and prestigious”

“I loved my experience with buying the tealight holder from the website...the quality is amazing and its such a beautiful product just as pictured...in fact pictures don't do it justice!! It really is a gorgeous centre piece. I only wish delivery was free over a certain amount of money spent...as delivery is quite expensive. But otherwise I am really happy with my purchase and will be using this for years to come ?”
