“A very good service from orderng to delivery. Product is very good quality and well packed with clear instructions. We are pleased with the lights but wonder if the shade is too heavy for the stand, as both lights have a very slight tendency to lean. We are overall pleased with the lighting effect.”

“We are very disappointed with Barker and Stonehouse customer service. After making two large orders and paying large amount of money, in store manager of Battersea branch declined a return request for a sofa (when we offered to purchase goods for the same amount). Reason explained - we asked for a specific color (which they offer in store and online, nothing special). If offered the same sofa (same color) online we could have returned it without problems (as per shop policy), however the staff of the shop assured us that ordering with them is always better... (as we make them commission, I guess) To be completely clear the contract we signed says cancellation request will be at the discretion of the shop, so they could accept our proposal. We really liked the shop and we were ready to exchange goods rather than asking for a refund. Another order we made is delayed by two weeks and we had to call every time to ask for an update... barker and m, especially Battersea, you really don’t value your customers! We would have come back to you and bought a lot of stuff, but like this you just ruined your reputation to us... this is a very poor way of managing loyal customers and loosing them”

“We saw this Rivington bench in the showroom and immediately loved it! It?s so comfortable ,and easy to keep clean which is essential with 2 young kids. The quilted pattern is really nice and the colour is just perfect. Already had nice comments from our first visitors to sit on the bench. It?s now the most popular seat in the house!”

“I won?t lie, I was a difficult customer.... I bought something without measuring it. When I received the text to say my order was in, I only then realised realised that I should have measured it first. Without taking my order from their delivery room, I asked for a refund and it was granted there and then.”

“The staff at the Battersea branch have been very helpful on each of the four occasions we have been there in the past 8 months. Chris, in the bedding department, sat with us and explained all the options open to us. We ordered quite a lot of furniture and they kept everything in storage until the renovation work on our flat had finished. Then the people in the delivery department were very flexible and helpful. Also, the prices were very competitive. We were so impressed that we have just ordered a couple of other pieces.”

“Barker and Stonehouses superb on trend range attracted us, as we were looking for a specific design. This was the Purcell / Boone lines, which offered classic styles with a contemporary edge. We took a drive down from Glasgow to Newcastle to see the furniture in person and weren?t disappointed. Great build quality and friendly helpful staff meant it wasn?t a wasted journey. We ordered two sofas following the trip-which says it all.”

“Amazing customer service. Had some issues with DPD delivery service but Barker and Stonehouse were amazing and and sorted with no quibbles. Would highly recommend! Also the clock I brought is beautiful!”

“Great service, ordered online for click and collect in Hull. When we arrived our car was slightly too small, the staff were happy to hold it for us until later that day when we came back with a bigger car. Couldn't have asked for a more friendly and helpful team.”
