“Dreadful experience I don’t normally comment on companies however I do need to say I have found my experience with Barker and Stonehouse dreadful and will never be ordering from them again. We ordered a leather chair and after a few weeks found marks appearing on the arm. We reported it to Barker and Stonehouse and sent a photo. Before even reviewing this they alleged we had dropped something on it. They then sent someone out to review the chair. He explained it was a manufacturing fault and attempted a repair which although better was not great. Having not heard of anything for a month we called them to ask for a progress update. They then claimed the case had been closed weeks before as the report had allegedy said this was customer damage. Someone is lying here and I think I know who. It is such a shame as we really liked the store and the product doesn’t look bad. If you do order though be aware they will do anything they can to avoid providing a replacement.”

“Very good website, nicely laid out and easy to navigate. The staff were very helpful when I needed to speak to them. The only issue I had was the wrong item arrived first time due to being mislabelled in the warehouse, however the customer service team quickly resolved this and arranged delivery of the correct item and return of the incorrect one at a time that suited me.”

“Ordering was easy, delivery was prompt and communication was very good so ticks all the boxes. One of the 4 dining chairs was a little scratched and they agreed to replace it within hours of the delivery arriving and a date to replace was agreed straight away.”

“I have purchased all my bedroom furniture from the leeds store. The sales guys are never pushy just helpful. Some items are a bit pricey. But you get what you pay for and the aftersales is second to none”

“We collected 4 chairs from the Hove store. The experience was very good; professional and courteous staff on the day, and we are very pleased with the chairs, which were ordered online. Having visited the Hove store previously, we were told that we couldn't collect from the store and would have to go to Crawley, which we were not prepared to do. We then ordered online, and were able to collect from the Hove store! % stars would have been awarded if we had been told this when visiting the store”

“A great product which looks just as good as it did on the website and in the showroom. Staff were courteous and helpful and not at all pushy it salesy. The item took over a week to be delivered to my local store, but I was warned if his before I made the purchase.”

“Not taken delivery of the goods yet so will reserve final judgement - but to date I have been kept very well up to speed in respect of expected delays, deliveries etc. Staff are polite and helpful.”

“Great product and service Really happy with my Harrington large sofa and footstool in colourway Lumino Slate. The piece is exactly as the image, the colour is as the sample and all went smoothly with order and delivery. ALSO very good value for money.”

“Very impressed with the customer service for internet sales as when my mattress wasn't delivered with the bed I ordered Anna pulled out every stop and got couriers to bring it the next day. She did exactly what she promised. No fobbing off just went the extra mile. The quality of the bed bought are second to non which is what I like about barker and stonehouse furniture.”
