Here at barbless-flies.co.uk we supply selections of barbless flies to the river & stillwater fly fisherman. We specialise in supplying fishing flies in size 14 and smaller. As you will see from the products on our website, we supply boxed selections of flies (be it either nymphs, dries or a mixture of both). All of the flies we supply we have successfully fished with ourselves and have found them to be long lasting and excellent immitations. All of the flies featured on our website are hand tied using quality materials using barbless hooks. All of our products are shipped FREE of CHARGE, to ANYWHERE in the WORLD.

“The products i.e. the flies are generally of good quality, but annoying that (eg) when mayfly season comes around one is only offered the opportunity to purchase a card of selected patterns rather than the individual ones required. The website is lacklustre and not always easy to navigate and pay.”

“I have not received my last order and have no idea what the present status is. The last two orders took 4 weeks or longer to reach me (address in the Netherlands) and I was charged import tax and handling cost amounting up to 50% of the order value. Quality of Barbless flies have always been good but since Brexit it is really not a good idea to order anything in the UK unless you are not in a hurry and do not mind to pay extra.”

“The flies arrived promptly, thank you. In this particular pack of tungsten nymphs many of the flies look very much alike and in fact it is impossible for me to tell the differences between them. It would be helpful if they came packaged separately with an identification on. Thanks”

“Hooks a bit on the heavy side.FAB's worked well but would have connected with more fish if hooks were a size small. Other than that,well tied and pink FAB produced👍”

“The products, meaning flies are good. One thing that you could do to improve you fly selection is to add bigger size flies an alternative. We here in scandinavia and norther part of the hemisphere have still waters where the fish have not spooked day after day, and they take also bigger size flies. The other improvement I would like to see is faster delivery of the flies. One often buys flies just few weeks before the fishing trip, and it is unpleasant to wait for the flies not knowing whether you get them before you leave.”

“well this is the second time in a few weeks that I've had flies from you and on both occasions the dressing of the flies has been either sparse or in the case of the last flies the hackles where flatend down. The choice of flies is also limited due to being out of stock”

“The site is really slow, clunky and it’s difficult to find what you need. I often try and look but get so frustrated that I shop elsewhere. Logging on this morning most of the items that I wanted were sold out and the and the discount that I had only just received didn’t work. The site needs to be more intuitive and easier to search. The actual service once orders have been placed is excellent”

“Do not know how to rate the order. It is not clear whether the goods are shipped and it is not clear how to track the order. All I can see on the site is that " the order is being processed". I am really looking forward to be able to have a look at the real thing. The pictures are nice though.”

“I have fished the tungsten nymph selection on a couple of occasions and caught both Trout and Grayling. They therefore effective. However the durability is poor. The dressing on the small green goldhead completely unravelled after 1 cast. I used the large balloon caddis as a duo with the tungsten nymph, but it did not float well and resorted to a Klinkhamer. I could be me not applying enough floatant. I hope the comments are helpful and will let you how the dries work when the fish begin to become more active. Regards Keith”

Hi Keith, Thanks for your review. Please let me know your thoughts on the dries. Also, please let me send you some replacements for the olive quill nymph that unraveled, as that obviously should not be happening. Thanks Richard
