“Daina organised me a 3 night trip to The Wilderness Hotel in Nellim, North Finland for a special anniversary trip. I wanted to surprise the wife with a trip to see the Northern Lights. Daina was superb in providing me with the info I needed to book this trip and she was exceptional. The trip itself was truly magical and the hotel was superb. I couldnt have asked for a more romantic/ special trip as this for such an important trip. The Northern Lights arent guaranteed but we did get to see them and they are spectcular. The organised trips and adventures at the hotel are fabulous too. Highly recommend using Baltic Travel for this.”

“We had an amazing Christmas in Iceland (finally postponed from 2021 due to Covid) Inga put together a great bespoke trip and helped out with all the questions and requests I had. Everything went extremely smoothly whilst we were there and it was so relaxing knowing that everything had been organised for us. Unexpected amounts of snow meant our last daytrip was cancelled but in all honesty it made no difference to us and the Christmas snow made it all the more magical. We have fallen in love with Iceland and would definitely use Baltic Travel to travel there hassle free again”

“I found the Baltic travel company online whilst searching for a short new years trip to Iceland. They offered just what I wanted. There was a little confusion with the drafting of the tailor made programme but it was quickly resolved and I got what I wanted. I think I paid more than those using other travel companies but otherwise cannot fault the service. The trip was fabulous. The group was very diverse and hence interesting. The tour guide was enthusiastic to show us his country. The local tour company did everything to make our trip enjoyable. All in all a great way to welcome in the new year. I would definitely use this company again.”

“Brilliant service from Baltic Travel, they designed up a bespoke itinerary for our Skiing holiday to Norway based on our requirements and booked every detail from planes, trains and hotels. “The Baltic Travel Polar Express trip was fantastic. It was well organised that meant we just had to focus on enjoying the holiday. The children loved the dog sled and reindeer trips. The guides were great and made sure we were warm enough, a challenge in itself. The train ride to Norway just got more spectacular and it was amazing to finish the trip in such a special place. We even managed to add an additional ski lesson in before we had to think about heading home.”

“From the initial stage of booking through to the completion of our holiday I can give my sincere recommendations for using Baltic Travel. They put together a great Xmas break for my two sons, husband and I, the itinerary including all the things we hoped to do and see in a place that was magical. Their team all are friendly and professional and they certainly know their stuff. We had a great time. Moreover they were there when we needed them out of hours, speedily and efficiently making arrangements after I suffered a fall. We shall certainly be recommending them to our friends.”

“Thanks to Baltic Travel Company, we had the most most wonderful time in Norway!! We live in New Zealand, and quit our jobs to travel around Europe for 6 months. We went to 12 countries, but our time in Kirkenes, Noway, was the highlight of our whole trip. We did dog sledding, which was one of our favourite things, but it was the free time we had with the dogs that was the most special. We had an hour free before we were taken to the airport, so we spent that whole time walking up and down the lines of kennels patting as many of the dogs as we could. They were so gentle and affectionate. Particularly as working dogs. The staff at the snow hotel were so fun, kind, attentive, and informative. We felt so well looked after. It’s amazing how much they have going in at their base, and yet everything runs like clockwork. Thank you Baltic Travel Company for booking the trip for us. Everything was so easy. It was the most relaxed part of our whole trip. If we come back to your side of the world some time we will definitely be in touch for a new adventure.”

“We recently returned from a trip to Norway arranged by Baltic Travel and would definitely use them again. They arranged everything for us including flights, hotels, trips and all travel between our four destinations in Norway and although there were changes that had to be made prior to going, everything was handled professionally and communication was excellent. The information provided beforehand was great and we didn't experience any issues whilst away but we're confident that help was at hand should we have needed it. Thanks in particular, goes to Inga, who handled our requests and was always on hand if we had any questions. Thanks for a very memorable holiday.”

“We had a wonderful time and Tromso is such a beautiful town, with all the lights and the snow which made its first appearance on our first day. My daughter told me it was the inspiration for the staging post city on the way to "the north" in the Golden Compass film/ books by Philip Pullman The trips were great and I really loved the reindeer one. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful with everything e.g getting into the overalls. We did see the Northern Lights - quite faint and I didn't realise that they show up better on a camera even a mobile one than the naked eye. However, I am very pleased with what we saw. If I was going again I would make time for a whale watching cruise as well, although I'm not too worried as we've a trip planned to Alaska next year. We also went up the cable car and to the artic cathedral. I would heavily recommend getting "spikes" that you clip under boots to help with the icy pavements. Some people earlier in the week had had the sled ride cancelled as it hadn't snowed sufficiently then and the snow is arriving later each year so people might need to go later in the season if that is a priority for them. Thank you again for organising. It all went very smoothly”

“We decided to visit Helsinki at short notice and found Baltic Travel via a web search. Their response to my enquiry was very quick and after a few discussions and amendments, we booked. We received all the documentation within a few days and everything ran smoothly, we could not fault anything. The hotel, The Lilla Roberts, was excellent, and very central and the food and service were first class. We would certainly recommend Baltic based on our experience and would use them again.”
