“Thanks to Nikola's meticulous planning, we have had a wonderful holiday in Norway, visiting Bergen, Tromso and Svolvaer. Flights & ferries worked smoothly, hotels were lovely, and excursions well worth it. Nikola tweaked the original holiday suggested by the Baltic Travel Company to suit our needs, and the detailed letter that accompanied our tickets made for a very easy and enjoyable travel experience.”

“We wanted to tour Georgia and Armenia with Knowledgeable guides who could not only show us the sights but could reveal the culture and history of both countries. Baltic Travel provided a detailed itinerary that included some locations not on the tourist trail which we particularly wanted to visit. They also arranged stopovers and hotels in Istanbul and Riga that allowed us walking city tours. Georgia highlights were Tskaltubo, a spa town in West Georgia where we stayed at Spring 6 thermal baths built exclusively for Stalin and still operational. Kasbegi, high in the Caucasus mountains near the Russian border, to visit the Holy Trinity church perched on a hill with snow capped mountains as a dramatic backdrop. Armenian highlights, Noratus Cemetary near Lake Sevan with many Khachkars, large curved tombstones with intricate carvings and Tatev Monastery built on the edge of a high cliff and accessed by cable car. In Armenia and Georgia we had the opportunity to meet local families to sample local food and drink and discuss their histories and situations. The holiday went without a single hitch, it was well organised and both guides were very experienced giving us a full explanation of the histories and political and social issues faced by both countries. I would definitely recommend Baltic Travel. At the planning stage, they were willing to work with us to come up with the itinerary we required and ensured any questions or concerns we had during our travels could be easily and quickly addressed.”

“Just returned from The Faroe Islands. Fabulous fly-drive holiday, the scenery is stunning. You won’t see many cars whilst driving, what you will see is mountain's, numerous waterfalls and lakes and the ocean, as most of the roads run along the coast. You can stop at picturesque villages with houses of blue, black, green and red, some of which retain their traditional grass covered roofs. Stay at the beautiful village of Gjogv and you will see Puffins. Torshavn is like a small town with some excellent restaurants like Katrina Christian serving Swedish Tapas. Have a look at the shops selling hand knitted jumpers. A nice touch is the hotels have coffee dispenser machines, all of which is free. I would happily return to the Faroe Islands and use Baltic Travel again. Usually when I return from a holiday you don’t hear from the company you booked with but Baltic contact you, asking about your experience. This shows they really are customer focused and want to deliver a quality service.”

“After searching for holidays in Norway, we couldn't find exactly what we were looking for, somewhere away from the usual tourist and cruise ship 'hotspots'. That is, until we found the Baltic Travel Company. We were spoilt for choice, and eventually decided upon the North Norway Fly Drive package. We were not disappointed; it was excellent in every respect. Many thanks to Nikola for answering my numerous questions and looking at various dates before we finally booked. The travel plan was a little complicated as we had to incorporate a number of ferries and internal/international flights, but everything worked perfectly. I have no hesitation in recommending Baltic Travel; after only being back a few days we are already poring over their website planning our next trip!”

“thank you for putting together a fantastic itinerary which flowed like clockwork. The timings and maps and instructions were spot on and made life so easy. I had every confidence in your planning after our trip to Finland in January. I have so many photos, many of which do not do the colours and atmosphere justice. Bergen was lovely and a perfect place to start and finish the trip off at with a wonderful fish meal at the harbour. We took the funicular up to the view point and walked down. Views were spectacular. Sogndal had a lovely outside bar area around the hotel and the ice hike was just so awesome inspiring and with a sherpa who had scaled Everest 7 times. It was an experience I'll treasure. Flam was my favourite, the train ride with magical music at a waterfall stop, the bike ride down the mountain, a floating sauna pontoon and I swan in the fjord. The viking pub and hotel were exactly what I hoped they'd be. The fjord boat trip to Gudvangen was stunning. The short bus trip to Voss stopped at the highest viewpoint back down the valley. Arrival in Voss was in rain but what a view across the lake from the balcony at the hotel!! The white water rafting was AMAZING loved it. Sadly our flight home was delayed but thankfully that didn't spoil any of our wonderful trip.”

“We had an absolutely fabulous time in Norway once again. The scenery was just out-of-this-world throughout the trip and neither of us had ever seen anything quite like it. We first saw the Lofoten mountains from the Bodo-Moskenes ferry and it took my breath away. What a way to start the fly-drive! As always, Baltic travel has everything in perfect order as we travelled Northwards through Henningsvær and its famous football pitch, to Mortsund with beautiful views and accommodation. Andenes is a lovely wee town but Senjahoppen was magnificent, what a place! Perfect weather made for a perfect day and a walk with a sighting of a sea eagle rounding it off. Through Alta, we headed to Nordkapp. Europe's most Northerly point. Brilliant. A night in Honningsvaig was superb, then a drive to Hammefest and a cruise through amazing scenery to Tromsø, before heading to Narvik and back to Bodo. The perfect break. We loved the more remote locations on the holiday, the Norwegian countryside is awe-inspiring. We are both missing the place already and I am hoping to get back one day to climb many of the insanely beautiful hills we enjoyed seeing from ground level! Thanks for this wonderful experience, we will holiday through Baltic Travel again for sure.”

“We had a fantastic holiday in Denmark. This was largely due to the excellent communication and organisation skills of the Baltic Travel Company - our contact Nikola was really patient and attentive. She listened to our needs and helped set up things so well meaning that everything went smoothly and we saw things that most tourists don't. We had flights, trains and accomodation arranged and everything was pretty much perfect. We will definitley be booking again as we were so well looked after.”

“8 cities 17 nights 10+ tours lots of cities and airport and ferry transfers.. not a single delayed driver nor a bad tempered or poorly prepared guide..not a mistake on hotel reservations. “We had a FANTASTIC time. There were so many highlights: NordKapp, Senja, the Hurtigruten experience (the drive to Oksfjord was beautiful too) and Lofoten. Oslo was fun and very different to the previous week’s road trip. The accommodation was good or excellent. It was definitely an adventure experience, and we would never have visited some places had it not been for your itinerary. Thank you so much Daina for all your help in planning this holiday.”

“I went on the polar bear trip to Spitzbergen in June 2024, and it was terrific. We saw four different bears, and one was a female eating a walrus with her two cubs chilling out in the snow. Lots of walruses, an arctic fox and fantastic scenery. The boat was lovely, with only 50 passengers and although the cabins were a bit cramped there was no need to spend much time in them as there were comfortable lounges. A knowledgable and helpful expedition party consisting of nine experts. Talks, lectures, champagne when we crossed the 80th parallel and really good food. A really memorable holiday.”

“I have just been on a 5 day trip to Norway. Norway in a Nutshell and had a great time. Mark at Baltic Travel looked after us and arranged everything for us, hotels, trains and flights, all we had to do was 'turn up and do it'. I was apprehensive to start as we would be on our own (also exciting) but we had indepth instructions and times of transport. Following the instructions was easy and we were also given tips (get to the station 30mins early for example.)There was a couple of hic ups but advice and help was only a phone call away and it didn't impact on the holiday at all. We loved our holiday. Mark (booking and information) and Daina (contact whilst away) were excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend this company and we hope to use them again in the future. “Have been using this Company for a couple of years now, primarily through one person, Inga. Very easy to communicate and arrange trips, tailor-made or not, and arrangements are always spot on. Latest trip was a tailor-made holiday to Norway for 3 weeks with everything (flights, hotels, travel, excursions, car rental) arranged in advance by Inga. Everything went flawlessly. Highly recomment.”

“Our Baltic tour was blessed with glorious weather to wander around historic sites and be expertly guided by our tour leader, who provide lots of history and context and was attentive to details for our comfort. The major Baltic Cities are a visual feast and visits to local crafts/services helpfully broke up the longer bus journeys. All the accomodation was excellent. BalticTravel provided with us with detailed information and itineries and helpfully reseponded to any queries we had.”

“I generally dont write reviews, but had such a fantastic trip on our recent 10 day holiday to Norway, it felt right to share my experience. Baltic Travel arranged everything for us - flights, hotels, ferries, trains, etc. and provided extensive explanantions for our itinerary - websites, travel to hotels, train stations, etc. so at no time did we feel at all lost. Also, the price for the holiday was less than I would have expected (and lower than other trips I'd seen) so the price is good as well as the service. Also, the team at Baltic Travel are very responsive - I had a problem checking in for our flights and Daina quickly soretd things out and sent me our boarding passes without me even asking - fantastic services from start to finish. The hotels picked by the team in Norway are very good - there was also breakfast in each hotel as standard, which Im not used to, and the food quality and variety was the best I'd ever had on a holiday. I will certainly use Baltic Travel again!”

“This was a wonderful trip taken by 5 family members. The administration was first class and the commication was excellent. The weather was generally very kind. The hotels were very comfortable with great breakfasts. We ate extremely well, often trying cafes and restaurants recommended by guides and sometimes looking to see where the locals ate and following them in. We had four different guides across the three countries and the Palace and without exception they were enthusiastic, knowledgeable and led with a good pace. The sights were really interesting and the guides took us to places not readily available in tourist books so we got the best of both as we could catch a tram or visit other places in the afternoons. We can thoroughly recommend this trip.”

“The hotels were number 1. We had requested an updrade and were not disappointed. Hotels were centrally located. Various destinations were well chosen. Vehicle was an appropriate size, however, communication with the rental car company was difficult. We enjoyed our trip very much.”

“i had a wonderful holiday in Poland. The hotels chosen by Baltic Travel were excellent and, apart from one, very conveniently placed close to the railway stations. Very good information was provided by this company including maps, instructions etc. All helped to make this a wonderful holiday with a company I would have no hesitation travelling with again.”
