I travelled to Moscow and Saint Petersburg and I was very pleased with all the travel, hotel and itinerary arrangements by Baltic Travel Company. They were also very helpful with the visa process. I would definitely use them again.

We had the most fantastic holiday in Norway on the Arctic Combo. . We couldn't fault anything about the trip and thought that it was excellent value for money. We loved our time on the Hurtigruten-the food was excellent and the scenery was amazing.. The highlight of the trip was of course the Snow Hotel and the king crab fishing, snowmobiling and husky dog sledding were incredible experiences-the guides were extremely knowledgeable. We will definitely use Baltic Travel again for any future Scandinavian trips and will recommend you to others. Many thanks for a magical holiday

Just got back from a week in St Petersburg organised by Baltic Travel. The pre-trip organisation was excellent. Getting our Russian visas went smoothly. Laura answered all our questions, even calling St Pete to get answers! Flights and pick-ups wentq well and once there it was excellent. Loved the Ambassador Hotel....very friendly staff, clean, comfortable and great breakfasts. Would thoroughly recommend Baltic Travel and will definately use them again when we head to that part of the world. Martin & Joy

Fabulously organised and delivered trip to Moscow and St Petersburg, from first contact with Michael and team in the London office to our safe return landing at Newcastle airport. Brilliant guides, great itinerary, good hotels - educative, entertaining, relaxing in equal measure. Special thanks to guides Sasha (Moscow) and Teddy (St P).

Friendly, helpful organisation. Everything went to plan, precisely but with comfortable ease. Being picked up on every leg of the journey and tour was wonderful. Both guides were excellent; Sasha's sense of humour was an added bonus. Both kind, gentlemanly, and incredibly knowledgeable. Teddy tells a great story. All the tour visits were well chosen and the Russian meal was wonderful, for the cuisine as well as socially. A lovely idea. Both hotels were well located with efficient, warm service. I liked the Moscow Hotel best, for its dining and quiet décor, but we were well served in both. Flights great. Love Russia. Will highly recommend Baltic Travel Company. Thankyou.

This was the first holiday we had taken with the Baltic Travel Company and we all really enjoyed it. We travelled to Poland and split our week between Krakow (a lovely city!) and Zakopane in the Tatra mountains. This proved to be an excellent combination. All the arrangements worked really well. We thoroughly recommend the Baltic Travel Company!

We had the greatest winter vacation - I went with a group of friends. We did the Aurora Bubble tour in Lake Inari, Finland. All of the activities were amazing, and worth the money! We had great organization with Inga and the crew at Baltic Travel Company. I will most definitely be looking at another trip with the company!

Baltic Travel Company, thank you. We had the most wonderful time in Tromsø and although the weather seemed to be against us, we did manage to see the Nothern Lights, which was the highlight for me. Tromsø was an excellent centre as was the hotel, it couldn't have been more convenient for everything and the people we met were all wonderful and so willing to tell you about their history and town, which has a great vibe about it. It was a magical experience. Thank you to you and your team for making it all possible.

we would like to thank you and your company for a First class holiday experience. From start to finish, everything ran smoothly. Your up to date information was marvelous. The package you provided was excellent. The paperwork you sent through was faultless. The service by Grayline was fantastic. Thank you for your kind gift of a bottle of champagne at the hotel for my partner's birthday. It was well received. The hotel itself was excellent. Unfortunately we didn't see the Northern Lights, but that is how nature works. Overall we had a lovely time, which was made easy from the preparation you made I would certainly recommend Baltic Travel to anyone . I really can't praise you enough. Kind regards Glyn.

Our experience with Baltic Travel was absolutely incredible. Outstanding service and very organised when helping us plan our honeymoon. All reservations/ transfers/flights worked like clockwork and the communication with the company was exceptional. Would recommend them to anyone we know that are planning trips and we are looking forward to using their services in future when planning our next journey. 😊

We travelled as a family of four, with an 11 year old daughter and 9 year old son, to Reykjavik this February. We took a 5 day break and were based at Foss Hotel Reykjavik throughout. Our arrival in Iceland boded well, the airport is clean, modern and spacious. We followed the directions provided to find the transfer coach to the hotel. The company is Grayline but it is not immediately obvious which coach to take, we just needed to approach and enquire. We were dropped off right outside Foss Hotel Reykjavik. The hotel is the largest in the city but does not feel overwhelming busy. Even at breakfast time when you are most aware of the volume of people the buffet and various drinks dispensing stations were always easily accessible, so everything runs smoothly. We had a family room and, as apparently these are only on the second floor, unfortunately we had no view of the harbour. Also conference rooms are above, so late at night, around 11pm, and early in the morning I could hear tables and chairs being moved around as the room was reconfigured. The noise is not terrible, and in fact I think I was the only one of our family to be aware of it. We had dinner in the hotel one night, this is again buffet style, but the chef does also cook fresh dishes while you watch, I had some delicious cod. The meat also also very good. We, and particularly my son, were delighted to meet the chef, a genuine Iceland strong man! The buffet is very plentiful and varied to cater for all nationalities. We also ate in the bar restaurant below reception one night and the food was delicious. Another real highlight of the hotel were the fabulous lighting fixtures, obviously a lot of thought and expense had gone into selecting these. Reykjavik itself is a lovely city to easily explore on foot, the centre itself is very small and charming. We also enjoyed the Volcano House and Icelandic fish and chips at the end of the harbour. Nearby to this was the wonderful Harpa building which is an architectural wonder and we revisited it at least 4 times during our short stay! Turning to the tours which we took during our stay, I would say that the pick up point is in fact just outside the hotel, at a bus stop only around 30 metres away (bus stop 12), and not as directed on the instructions provided with our documents (I think that was around 3 minutes away and may have been bus stop 4). Once we had realised that all pick ups were very smooth. Usually you are picked up at the hotel, taken to the central bus depot and transferred from there to a larger, comfortable coach for the day tour. We took the Golden Circle tour, all the stops that day were well managed and though we would have liked more time at each obviously there is lots to pack in on the day so I understand the time constraints. The only disappointment that day, mainly for the children, was that there was no stop at the Icelandic Horse Park which had been mentioned on the website for this tour. We then took the Northern Lights tour in the evening, after dinner, we were taken to a seaside stop, right by a lighthouse, possibly surprising, given the light given out, there was a cafe which stayed open right up until the departure of coaches at around 11.45. We did not see the lights, but certainly had not been expecting to in any case. The next day’s tour was the South Coast and Waterfalls, there was a lot to see during this tour but we were very disappointed by the very short amount of time given to see Skogafoss waterfall, this is truly spectacular and 25 minutes was way to short to experience it fully. On the way we had a terribly long ‘comfort’ break at a shop and toilets at which a large amount of other coaches had also stopped. The large shop was solid with people queuing for the toilets. An alternative stop would have been far better. It would have helped if the toilets on the various coaches had been in service, they never were. The time given at stops during the remainder of the day was fine however. On our final day we went to the Blue Lagoon, although it does appear in the changing rooms that it may be worryingly busy in the water, in fact it isn’t. The size of the pools is surprisingly large, with many areas to explore and it is easy to find tranquility to fully enjoy the experience. We spent 4 hours in the water and enjoyed the bar and complementary face mask! The children particularly loved this part of the holiday and it is quite magical. It is very easy to take a bus back to Reykjavik whenever you feel like leaving, they are regular and not busy. To conclude, we had an amazing holiday, seeing one geological marvel after another, the people were very friendly and had a dry humour and easy manner. We would definitely like to go back to Iceland and will be using Baltic Travel again for this and the next trip we plan, to Norway.

My holiday in Iceland was fantastic, thank you Baltic Travel. Iceland is lovely, it has some amazing scenery and everyone is really nice and they speak brilliant English ! All of the arrangements you made ran very well. The hotel was good, clean and warm, the staff friendly and helpful, and I was impressed with Grayline travel, all tours ran on time and the tour guides were knowledgable and interesting to listen to. The only disappointing thing was the non show of the Northern Lights. Grayline did their best to find them for us, but to no avail. But I realise that as it’s a natural phenomenon sighting them can never be guaranteed, so no complaints ! Thanks very much for arranging the holiday for me, I would happily recommend you and Baltic Travel to anyone thinking of undertaking a similar trip. Pauline

We have recently returned from Poland having booked the “City and Snow” holiday with Baltic Travel. I can honestly say Baltic Travel were exceptional right from the start of our enquiry. Very helpful and eager to please, sourcing additional activities for us whilst in Zakopane – dog sledding, snow shoe walking, cross country skiing and a Kulig ride. The whole holiday was well organised, with great communication throughout. We were given our itinerary beforehand and everything happened/people arrived when they should have but if there had been a problem, we had the details of who to contact, which is important when you are in a different country and don't speak the language. The combination of City and Snow was a good in both contrast and time spent at each location; Krakow is a lovely city, easy to get around and steeped in history. We opted for the optional tours of the Salt Mine, city tour and Auschwitz-Birkenau, these were all well organised and tour guides very informative. Then on to Zakopane for some fun the snow and mountains. Zakopane has so much to offer, a fantastic family winter activity destination. There were so many different things to do in and around Zakopane, as well as our planned activities, there were walks in the woods, snow maze, funicular railway and a whole host of things we didn't get round to doing. The additional activities Baltic Travel booked for us were with BazaTatry, they were fantastic, a truly personal service, very friendly and extremely helpful. We feel like we have had a VIP trip! We would most definitely recommend Baltic Travel and booking the additional trips/activities - we look forward to booking our next holiday with them!

We had the best time on our recent trip to Tromsø and Stockholm! I would even go so far as to say it’s the best holiday we’ve ever had. Tromsø was amazing, such a beautiful place, especially when knee deep in snow. The locals were so friendly. The northern lights chase was fantastic. Our host Trine was great and made everyone feel at ease. Even if we hadn’t seen the Northern lights she would have made it a special trip...teaching us about the lights and Norway and it’s history. It was really interesting. She was also great with our sons which was nice especially as they were the only children on the trip. And we did see the northern lights which was the whole reason for the trip so we were beyond happy! The dog sledding trip was great but soooo cold (-25). The staff were great & it was an unbelievable experience. The scenery was breathtaking. Stockholm was also beautiful and dusted with wet snow. Perfect for snowballs, so my boys were very happy. The hotel here was lovely. Both hotel breakfasts were the best we’ve experienced, so much choice and interesting new foods to try. We were also very impressed with The Baltic Travel Company. The itinerary & advice they provided were very helpful indeed. So in summary we had a fantastic once in a lifetime holiday, and would recommend the Baltic Travel Company to anyone considering booking a trip with them.

I booked an adventure weekend (% days) in Iceland. The staff were very helpful and provided information to my questions when asked. In addition they were quick to sort an issue I had with luggage allowance at the airport and replacement boarding passes were in my hotel room the next day. All in all very pleased with their service.

We were hoping to plan a once in a lifetime type of vacation experience and knew attempting to do it ourselves didn't seem the way to go. We live in the US and contacted a US travel agent, but received not help. We then contacted Baltic Travel and received an immediate response with the complete information on the trip we desired (a northern Finland Aurora experience with additional days in London). Additional requests for information and some special requests were accommodated immediately and all was booked without any fuss. Baltic Travel made the payment secure and easy as well. Every aspect worked out wonderfully. We had a wonderful adventure. The East Village of Kakslauttanen was perfect for us. Very quaint, a little rustic, and the accommodations were cozy (heated bathroom floor, fluffy comforters, fireplace). The staff went overboard to take care of us. The night we spent in the glass igloo at the West Village provided us with an opportunity to experience the much larger resort. We thoroughly enjoyed all the planned activities: snowmobiling, husky dogsledding and a nighttime reindeer sleigh ride. We got lucky and saw Northern Lights a couple of nights. What a beautiful part of the world. We are so glad we took this trip. We also thoroughly enjoyed London. With the experienced and professional help of Daina at Baltic Travel, we were able enjoy our once in a lifetime experience.
