“We recently book a trip to Sweden and Norway through Baltic Travel. We had never used them before but Laura our tour operator very quickly sorted us out and was happy to answer all my queries as I was quite nervous. The holiday was absolutely amazing and everything that Laura had booked I.e flights, pick up from airport, transfer to do dog sled, train journey to Norway everything was spot on. Nothing was too much trouble for Laura and I would definitely use them again . Thank you for an amazing holiday”

“If you are unsure whether to use Baltic Travel Company for your next trip... stop... just call them! I am one of those people who loves to plan trips and usually plan them myself, so was a bit reluctatnt at first, but for our trip to the Ice Hotel in Sweden I decided to use them. Mark was our agent and he was super amazing, he seemed to know exactly what we wanted and what we liked and was able to make some great suggestions and additions to our trip. Everything was well organised and presented and we had all the details which I really liked. I'd like to say everything went smoothly, however, we had weather delays, train delays and plane delays too... these things happen... but with Mark at the end of the phone everything was solved and fixed. It was hugely reassuring to know we had someone there to help us. I honestly cannot recommend Mark and Baltic Travel enough... I'm definately using them again for my next trip to the region!”

“When I first saw Baltic Travel advertising an aurora / Lapland break I was intrigued to find out more so e-mailed asking for more information. I received a detailed, speedy reply from Inga giving me details of a 3 night package. I didn't feel that this would be long enough so Inga added an extra night, together with the extra activity that I requested, and even offered us a choice of airports / flights to accommodate our preferences. I confirmed my final choice with Inga over the phone and it was all booked! The holiday itself was fabulous, it was the first time we had taken a winter holiday and it more than met our expectations! The hotel was warm and comfortable (almost too warm as we had packed for the cold!), the scenery stunning, staff super friendly and accommodating, guides knowledgeable and friendly, and the activities were bucket list experiences! We loved the holiday although we returned to work exhausted!”

“I have only good things to say about our experience with Baltic Travel Company! After explaining what we would like to do to Laura Baylis, one of their senior travel consultants, she took care of everything. Her personal experience of the area, what to do, what to see and even what to wear helped us decide what we should do. Not only was our holiday to Svalbard a once in a lifetime experience which we would urge anyone to try, the care with which Laura looked after us leading up to the holiday and then checking in with us upon our return was outstanding. Two points to note - 1) we had never used a travel company before, prefering to book holidays directly and 2) We did try to book this holiday first with Trailfinders who claim to provide a similar service but they were terrible and we ended up cancelling that holiday. We will definitely use Baltic Travel Company again!”

“Thank you Baltic Travel Company, we all had the best time on our trip. The itinerary you put together worked really well. The train journey and ferry added to the overall experience. The added information for other public transportation links also proved very useful. Our highlights from Stockholm included the fact it was snowy weather, a visit to Moderna Museet art gallery and exploring the old town. The girls also used the pool / sauna in the hotel. In Oslo the magnificent fjord looked great in the bright sunshine. The best thing was ice skating on the frozen lake in Spikerscuppa park. Ending in Copenhagen we enjoyed a canal cruise, the water front and the climbed the round tower to experience views of the city. In the evening we spent time in a jazz club. Fantastic memories for all.Thanks again for your assistance.”

“Daina helped us to plan our best ever trip! We planned a bespoke trip with a range of activities including husky sledding, reindeer feeding and snowmobiling. Before we left we received detailed information about the trips where to meet etc. Overall tge trip was amazing and it was supported by the excellent customer service and support form Daina. “We got back from our Lapland adventure last night. From beginning to end, it was amazing!!! We had zero issues with flights, hotel, transfers or excursions using Baltic Trvel Company (specifically Inga)!! The Ounasvarra chalet was beautiful (and way more than we needed as it fits 6 people!), but was so cosy and secluded, we were thrilled! Its about 10 mins taxi from the main street in Rovaniemi. We arrived at around noon and amazingly, our chalet was ready for us so that worked out great! we also booked dog Sledding and Snowmobiling with Inga and all worked out brilliantly! The current taxi price to go from Chalets to Santa Village is around €25 and €18 to town. These are daytime prices. Add 20% for night time. Taxi's are everywhere so you will have no issues day or nght getting one in town, Santa Village or the chalets. Reception are super and will call one for you! All taxis take both card or cash. We both feel it was one of the best trips we ever took and we will be booking another Scandinavian trip with Baltic travel Company in the coming months!!”

“We booked a 4 night stay in Finland with Baltic Travel Company, and I really can't fault them at all. We stayed at the Wilderness Hotel in Inari, where the staff and accommodation were perfect, we had the first 3 nights in a chalet (with personal sauna included) and our 4th night was in one of the aurora cabins where we were able to lay on our bed and gaze up at the starry sky above. The food in the hotel was lovely with lots of different choices, and even though I am vegetarian, there were always plenty of different options to choose from. The activities were so much fun, my personal favourite being the husky sledding. The dogs were so lively and friendly, and driving the sled was something that I had always wanted to do. Riding the snowmobile accross a frozen lake was also very thrilling, and the clothes provided by the hotel ensured that we were never cold or uncomfortable. We also visited a reindeer farm and were able to feed and stroke them, while also learning about the Sami culture. The night time snowshoeing was an amazing experience, and we were so lucky to have a great display of the northern lights during our walk, which just made the whole experience complete. The organization by Baltic Travel Company and The Wilderness Hotel was second to none, everything went incredibly smoothly, and the screens in the hotel reception area that display the times and names of people taking part in the different activities, make it really easy to keep up to date with all that is happening. Laura at Baltic Travel Company was fantastic at keeping us informed about everything, and answered any queries that we had incredibly quickly. We are so pleased that we chose this company, and would recommend them to anyone that wants a great, and stress free holiday.”

“We have just returned from another excellent holiday organised by Daina. We were keen to visit capital cities and she suggested the combination of Helsinki, Tallinn and Stockholm travelling mainly by ferry. We stayed in very comfortable hotels, particularly enjoying the quirkiness and central location of Downtown Camper in Stockholm. We thrived in Finnish saunas, swam outside in the heated Allas Pool in Helsinki, saw the magnificent Icebreaker fleet and drank excellent coffee throughout. Museums and galleries were all open in January as were the markets, but there were no crowds to negotiate. The Baltic team took any stress out of the arrangements, gave us brilliant pointers and I'd definitely recommend them for independent travel.”

“Baltic Travel arranged a fabulous trip fro us in January fro my 60th birthday. I wanted to do the exciting activities which are in their standard trips, but with an added few days in Tromso. Daina at Baltic was incredibly accomodating and arranged everything for us, including flights and transfers, and a bottle of bubbly for my birthday! Everything went really smoothly, and I was happy to be able to speak to her over the phone as well - that extra personal touch made all the difference. We would definitely recommend Baltic Travel, and hope to be using them again. Norway is a beautiful friendly country and we would love to go back.”

“From the offset, everything went smoothly, From the requested dates and booked excursions. Laura our consultant arranged everything and was always available for queries and nothing was too much trouble. Apart from making the payment which again was easy all we did was turn up at the right place and Time. Also provided with excellent advice, and tips, of places to see, eat and what to wear. “I had a magic time in Finland. The Renderers, dogsleds, meals, and outdoor activities. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. I even enjoyed the frozen landscape. The only problem I had was that, had to wear these heavy uniforms ( I knew it was necessary ). Difficult to move around for me😩🥹 Thank you for a wonderful holiday M .Allan”

“We booked at short notice with Baltic Travel for the Polar Express and our point of contact (Nikola) was awesome. Some of the package we'd picked was fully booked, so she put together something bespoke which involved a different place of accommodation and reversing the train journey. The flights were at decent times too. Nikola was really quick to respond and had all the answers to our questions. I'd definitely recommend using Baltic Travel! The holiday itself was fantastic too. Sweden was cold (-20) and the Northern Lights evening was a success too!”

“Our travel agent Mark from Baltic Travel was fabulous. He helped us to develop an itinerary that satisfied our needs and enabled us to travel as an independent group of 4 through Finland, Norway and Estonia so we could maximise our opportunities for seeing the northern lights, experiencing all the fun snow activities (snowshoe hiking, snowmobiling, huskies, reindeers, whales etc.) and becoming familiar with the places we were visiting. “From the moment we made an enquiry to returning home Inga has been efficient, organised and adapted the itinerary to our needs. The hotels, food and excursions were perfect and being met at airports and destinations and being transferred took all the stress out of the holiday. At 72 we did snowmobiling, husky rides, rib boat whale watching and even a night in the snow hotel at Kirkenes. We also appreciated having a bit of time to ourselves and two nights in Oslo was a lovely way to end the holiday. It was a dream holiday that exceeded our expectations! Thank you!”
