Read some indifferent reviews but tried Ballicom as they were much cheaper for a monitor I was after. Ordered Monday 11am arrived Tuesday 8am (on the free delivery option!) plus you are covered with Google and PayPal if there are any problems. What's not to like, brilliant thanks.

I don't often write reviews but thought the outstanding service I received required I left one for Ballicom.co.uk. I ordered two items a UPS and a 6tb HDD at 00.49 on Thursday 14th selecting their 3 day delivery option for £4.98 which for a heavy UPS I was more than happy with. I noticed about 12 hours later around midday that my Paypal transaction was still pending so I phone Ballicom and spoke to a member of staff he said everything was in order and that there was no problem, at this time I was a bit sceptical but thought I should give at least the 3 days. 08.37 Friday 15th Door goes it's DPD with my UPS happy days the 08.55 door goes again now it's Parcel Force with my HDD. Talk about good service giving my favorite online retailers a run for their money neither Amazon or Chain Reaction Cycles can competed with that for the price. Thanks again Andy

Made an inquiry for a purchase on quite a lot of kit, received my quote and I made the purchase. Goods were with me the next day. Had an issue with one of the drives i ordered - called up - advised me to log it online - did so - was contacted and asked to send faulty drive back - received my replacement shortly after Good experience. Will use again.

They did refund me after I stupidly bought an HP product (never again!) but it cost me £4 postage (not much, but it's the principle), but then they completely ignored my emails. Poor customer service and I'm surprised Amazon is associated with them.

I purchased 6 hardrives for a HP servers but realized that hard drives are 2.5" so I didn't touch any drive and sent the box back I received on same day and ask them to replace drives with 3.5" ones. after 3 working days I was told that they accept returns but it will have 20% restocking fee however they reduce it to 15% as I need to replace it with new one. I have been buying good online for so many years and newer experienced this. I recommend you to look for alternative website.

Somehow my delivery address got mixed up when placing my order on-line between Ballicoms website and their couriers website. The house name and road name jumbled into each other which made it impossible for the courier to find the address. I initially requested Ballicom try to resolve the problem from their end and their one-line email response suggested I get in touch directly with the courier, which I did. Three days later the package is still stuck at the couriers and a further request from assistance from Ballicom via email has been met with silence.

Terrible customer service. Ignored our emails and when we called promised someone would get back to us but never bother. I've been trying to return an item now for nearly 3 weeks and still having problems.

I bought items from Ballicom through Amazon, now go directly and find their delivery really fast and usually unbeatable on pricing. Easy to use.

I have had to return items to Ballicom twice. I will never order anything from them again, period. I have had to chase and chase and chase, first to get a return authorisation and then to get any progress. I have chased by email and by phone. Either way it takes weeks before they do anything. Apalling. Go to a retailer that values follow up customer service.

As is always in this life... a company only shows its true colours in post-sales. The sales process itself, as always, was seamless quick and delivery prompt. But then I wanted to return the goods (unused) because I'd accidentally ordered the wrong thing, and as this was a personal purchase I had all the consumer rights behind me (Distance Selling Directive etc.). And that's where everything started going wrong..... (1) It took a week for them to give me an RMA authorisation to return the goods. (2) I waited the 30 days they are allowed under the Distance Selling Directives for my refund... no refund received... I had to chase them and threaten them with credit card chargeback. (3) The refund arrived on my card.... but it was only a partial refund, they've illegally held back money in contravention of the Distance Selling Directives. I can see this will end with me getting a chargeback via my credit card company ! Avoid dealing with this company at all costs.

Our company ordered headsets off Ballicom, turned out that the web site info was totally misleading and that we would not get a full refund as there is a 15% re-stocking fee not mentioned anywhere. Moreover the returned headsets got rejected by their returns team and we're stuck with useless equipment. Worst company we have ever dealt with. Do not recommend to anyone unless you're up for a fight with the windmills

I had heard bad things about Ballicom, but decided to give them a shot because I was desperate. I order quite a bit of audio visual equipment for work and will continue to use Ballicom as long as they provide service as they did during my first shopping experience. My order came on time and was just as I expected.

Kept me waiting for 7 days, then when I enquired as to what's taking so long, why is the item not shipped yet? - they replied the next day money wasn't released from paypal, please order from our site again. I checked PayPal and they cancelled the transaction - I made several that day that all went through. Placed an order with euroPC - everything went through, got my item the next day. Avoid Ballicom! less than zero customer service Once i had to buy a monitor from Ballicom, i rang before place an order and requested them to deliver other address than crad registered address, the customer services lady agreed to send different address rather than card registered address. I placed an order and paid straightway from my debit card. After taking my money, I received a phone call that we couldn’t ship your order to any other address : HOW POOR I said NO WORRY please can i have a refund. A lady said YES. Next day, I phoned to their office, a man answered in a rush. He said, we haven’t charge your debit card : HOW POOR Today, I saw my bank statement, it shows ballicom.co.uk taken out of £218.55 FANTASTIC, what a service really. I called again, again a man answered in rush and put me through to a lady. She HOLD me about 1/2 an hour. After holding me, She said, I AM NOT SURE HOW TO ISSUE A REFUND, shall i ring you back. WHAT A CUSTOMER SERVICE. I waited their phone call for whole day that day but noone called. After 2,3 days struglling, they issued refund and i receive my money after 10 days. Think twice before you use this company. I bought some software with them in June which was paid for online and delivered pretty promptly. I thought everything was done and dusted. Over two months later they contacted me while I was on holiday to say that there had been a computer error (theirs) and 18 payments had been lost the day I made mine. Despite letting them know I was on holiday and would make the necessary credit card statement checks and payment, I returned home to a notice of intented court proceedings! After contacting them to complain, I never received a satisfactory apology for something that was down to their incompetence, not my reluctance to pay. Not the way to inspire customer loyalty!
