“I was away on holiday when my sculpture arrived and have since returned. I am delighted with the actual sculpture of Old Ginger, even though resin. However, was very disappointed that it wasn't named on the base or the side. Also no documentation included to say what it was either. Considering the price this seems remiss. Lynda Bromley”

Hi and the sculpture of the Dandy Dinmont is simply a casting of the maquette sculpture made by Sandy Stoddart. It is his faithful replice of his 'Old Ginger' which stands at The Haining and as such has no nameplate. There was a Dandy Dinmont event at The Haining where Sandy signed certificates, however this was a very specific 'on the day' event. Ballantynes have not had any input into this decision, we're making Old Ginger to help raise funds for The Haining (£60.00 on every sale is being gifted to The Haining Charitable Trust) where the breed was born. I hope you understand this ramble, however I'm pleased for like the workmanship which we can take the credit for.

“Outstanding workmanship and service. They turned an engraved bottle of port around for me at short notice and allowed me to present it in person rather than the individual receiving it in the post. Really pleased with this value for money idea for a presentation.”

“I recently bought the Police Helmet Bronze Figurine https://www.balwalk.com/british-police-standard-helmet-cuffs-and-boots-retirement-gift-idea as a retirement gift for a colleague of mine. I telephoned the company and received great friendly and helpful advice. I was even given a discount code. The statue arrived within a week. It was very well packaged and communication was good. I paid the additional small fee for engraving. The statue itself is fantastic. Nice and chunky and just oozes quality. I can't wait to present it at the retirement do tomorrow, I'm going to look great for choosing it!”

“The statuette is great! The service was pretty quick, considering they have staff shortages etc as stated on their website, but I asked them to complete the order (with engraving) ASAP as I was returning back to work in the Middle East and needed it to farewell a colleague. The statues are well worth it; solid, proper very well made. Everyone that see's it things they are fantastic. I have had statues from them in the past. They are a great gift! Cannot go wrong with their products and the company.”
