“Sorted us out a great holiday and even when we had to delay it two years running owing to COVID, kept up the communication and it ended up being well worth the wait! All aspects of the holiday we were well organised, great quality and made it a special holiday for us all”

“This is the 4th time we have used Balkan Escape and this has been the best yet. We were undecided exactly where we wanted to go but definitely wanted to visit Croatia and the Adriatic Coast. We have Jack our specific needs which were vast given we were going to be going with 2 children and also my Wife’s parents also (a lot of people to please) he recommended Amarin Family Hotel in Rovinj after much discussions and back and forth we put our full trust in his recommendations. He certainly delivered and more the place was amazing, everything from transfers, flights and hotels were smooth and pain free and kept us in contact throughout. Thank you so much from one very happy family. Rest assured our next holiday will be once again returning to the excellent team at Balkan Escape !”

“From the outset the team at Balkan Escapes understood our requirements and tailor made a holiday experience which was perfect for our family. Everything from the booking process through to the travel and transfers and hire car booking ran smoothly. This allowed us to just relax and focus on enjoying the experience of seeing Slovenia and Croatia knowing that everything had been taken care of. “Excellent! Jack was very helpful and arranged our trip to Croatia and Italy. There were many alterations due to Covid/flight cancellations etc. Jack updated us and gave us all of the options available at regular intervals. Hotels were perfect. “We booked a holiday with Balkan escape several months ago, and our initial contact was with Jack. He assisted us from the off, enabling us to choose the holiday which best suited our family needs, with a city and island-based holiday in Croatia, including follow-up by suggested tours and restaurants. We received paperwork from the company when expected, including pre-checked in flights which was most reassuring given the current uncertainties. Jack was very knowledgeable about the area and during our stay, we continued to make requests which were promptly dealt with. The quality of accommodation was excellent and the locations fantastic. I would have no qualms in recommending Balkan Escape as a company with specialist knowledge of the area, and in whom local recommendations for hotels, restaurants etc can be trusted. We enjoyed the holiday so much that we will almost certainly use the company again for something similar in the coming years - it is rare to have this level of personal service and reassurance. “First time trip with Balkan Escape. 100% satisfied with all aspects. Jack was extremely helpful (tolerant!) with our requests to re-jig the itinerary. All aspects were great. All hotels were v good. All transfers happened on time and the recommended “things to do” were all worthwhile/enjoyable. First time in Croatia and very impressed. Locals were all very welcoming and all locations were multi-nationality - hence the standard of spoken English was higher than it is in England. No hesitation in recommending Balkan Escape to anyone considering a trip to Croatia.”

“Just back from a 3 destination trip to Croatia, through Balkan escapes, whole itinerary provided was excellent with all the transfers , transport provided worked like clockwork. “The holiday itinerary designed by Balkan Escape was ideal for our family. The three centre schedule gave us an excellent flavour of all regions of Slovenia - city, mountains, lakes and coastline. The flight and hotel bookings and instructions all worked smoothly. Even when the final hotel had made a mistake in our room bookings Jack sorted it all within 30 minutes. The hotels were all of a high standard with the Ljubljana and Piran hotels being excellent. The customer service at all three hotels was friendly and efficient. From start to finish Balkan Escape were a pleasure to deal with. This is our second Balkan Escape holiday and we would definitely book with them again and have recommended them to friends.”

“The holiday was well organised from start to finish. We were given a suggested itinerary, and suggested hotels, which made planning the holiday very easy. It was great to have their advice of the area. Any changes to transfers or flight times were communicated immediately before and during our stay by text and on one occasion, also by phone call!
