“Very quick in responding to emails & any queries. Jack was really helpful in helping us to decide where to go/stay. Private transfers were arranged and all were on time. Would definitely use again & have already recommended to friends. Prices were competitive with other holiday companies(cheaper) & they were able to put together the package we wanted as we had found a particular hotel in one resort we wanted to stay. Other companies did not have the same flexibility & were not able to offer 2 or 3 centre holidays with transfers. Very pleased with process and all communication,thank you!”

“We had a great time. The resorts were varied and interesting. Jack’s suggestions as to what to do we’re spot on. Hotels were very good, friendly and accommodating. A special thank you to Jack for sorting out the last minute ferry changes. Taxi transfers were all on time but you need to be aware that hotel Marul in Split has no vehicle access. Therefore the taxis park ‘down the road’ and don’t always notify the hotel when they arrive. Luckily the owner was aware of this and took us to the waiting taxi. Would thoroughly recommend Balkan Escape. They really put in a lot of thought and effort.”

“Thank you for organising an amazing holiday in Montenegro and Croatia. Our trip was organised by Jack and he was very knowledgable and helped us to create a wonderful tailor made holiday. “Service from Jack was very professional and attentive. I will book with Jack in the future and have already recommended him to potential customers. Our holiday was fantastic, a few amenities were not open as expected, however I don’t believe that Jack had been made aware of this by the hotel before our booking was made. Besides this the hotel was fantastic and private transfers ran smoothly and would no longer travel by bus.”

“The holiday we have just had to Croatia was cancelled twice before due to the Pandemic. Balkan Escape have been very informative, fair and understanding in very difficult times but last week ( at last ! ) we had one of the best holidays ever . Taking Balkan Escapes advice on a two Centre holiday we booked 4 nights in Split and then moved on by ferry to beautiful Dubrovnik for the last 3 nights . Everything about the holiday went like clockwork. A huge thank- you to Jack at Balkan Escapes we will definitely be booking with you again .”

“Good and prompt service, all ran smoothly. Villa Tuttorotto very impressive. Picked us up from taxi rank in buggy to take us and suitcase up thro the old town to the hotel. Service from Dom and Olga outstanding. Complimentary fizz at breakfast, freshly prepared eggs to order, free chocs and afternoon coffee in the lounge. They even made us a packed lunch when we were rushing off on a boat trip without any food! Sea view from room and breakfast patio delightful. Highly recommended. Would use Balkan Escape again (fancy Montenegro) and have already recommended to a friend.”

“We have just returned from a three centre holiday in Split and Brac. The Puteus Palace was delightful, only 15 rooms, extremely friendly staff lovely pool, gardens and fabulous breakfast. Later we stayed at The Lemon Garden where the gardens are truly stunning as is the private beach. The Divota in Split was an excellent location but sadly looks a little tired and breakfast was in a local restaurant. Throughout the whole holiday from booking to being away Jack was extremely professional and helpful. the Plitvice Lakes day he organised was well structured. Yes I would recommend Balkan Escapes.”

“Excellent company. Jack understood our requirements very quickly and tailored a great holiday to what we wanted. The accommodation was as we expected and transfers were seamless, until the last day when there was a hiccup with the airport run, but despite the fact it was pretty early in the morning, Jack stayed in touch to ensure we got to the airport in time. “Just returned from an unforgettable three centre holiday to Croatia, including Split, Korcula and Hvar. Had the best time ever, thankfully we got a lot of help and advice beforehand from Jack who helped us plan our holiday to perfection. Acommodation, flight times, transfers, choice of islands/resorts couldn't have been any better, we loved everything about the holiday. “Our recent holiday to Tisno was very enjoyable and certainly met all our needs. The transfers to and from the resort were punctual and efficient and the drivers very pleasant. We stayed at the Hotel Tisno which was located in a great position right on the waterfront and close to all the restaurants and bars. It was spotless, comfortable and relaxing, the pool was a bonus and the owners and staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was outstanding. The service provided by Jack at Balkan Escapes was excellent as usual, listening to our requirements and suggesting new locations for us to visit. This is about the sixth time we have used Balkan Escapes and Jack has handled our booking each time and we have never been disappointed. The service has always been pleasant, helpful, handled efficiently and although we have only ever travelled to the Balkans we would certainly consider using them to book other destinations. We will definitely be booking with Balkan Escapes again and would recommend them to anyone who wants a reliable personalised service.”

“It was easy to discuss the holiday we were looking for and the options available to us. Jack helped us plan the most suitable itinerary and it worked very well for us. The hotels were all comfortable and clean. The service was excellent in the Hotel Degenija at Plitvice and the Hotel Bastion in Zadar. However the location of the Hotel Cvita in Split was not very pleasant, quite a long gruelling walk into the city and the staff were not as on the ball. Also, there was nowhere to change near the pool area. The service from the car rental was also poor. We waited over an hour to be attended to and the car we were given was badly scratched and dented. We also discovered that the windscreen wash bottle was empty, so it clearly hadn't been checked thoroughly before being handed over. However, the young woman who did serve is was friendly and did a good job of noting the damage to the car. We would certainly consider using Balkan Escape again, but be a bit more discerning about the hotels we were choosing.”

“Everything about the holiday and booking process was fantastic. Jack was super helpful and efficient. Accommodation (Lemongarden & Splendida Palace) was superb. “Jack at Balkan Escape arranged a fantastic four centre holiday to Croatia taking in Split, Brac, Korcula and Dubrovnik. From start to finish everything went very smoothly all taxi and ferry transfers were well organised with no hitches. The hotels were all great choices but the Splendida in Split was our favourite although a special mention for the Lemongarden on Brac and the More in Dubrovnik ad they were also fantastic hotels. If you are looking for a company to organise a break in Croatia look no further than Balkan Escape and Jack they were fantastic five star service.”

“Following the pandemic, we eventually got away on our Croatian tour after originally booking the holiday back in 2019. Jack at Balkan Escapes was really helpful in putting together our itinerary, which included Split, Havar, Korcula and Zadar. Jack also organised all our hotels and transfers, which we were very pleased with. I would certainly recommend Balkan Escapes and we are seriously thinking about booking another Balkan tour with them the year after next.”
