“We knew very little about Croatia - Jack helped us plan our holiday - in fact he planned it for us. From start to finish it couldn't have gone better. Our location in Split was perfect. The hotel in Hvar was beautiful and the hotel in Dubrovnik was just amazing. I couldn't complain about a single thing...oh wait, the minibus for the return airport transfer was 20 minutes late - but even then he called the hotel to let us know. So if that's the only negative thing i have to say I think that sums it up! We had never done multi site holidays so I was nervous about traveling to three different locations but everything was as per Jacks instructions - we were met from the catamarans, we knew where to catch the catamarans, what time to get there, what to expect the other end. Check in at hotels was seamless...transfers were smooth, basically everything was as we were told. The standard of the hotels was absolutely amazing - the nicest we have stayed in outside of the UK. * Would I change anything, suggest any improvements? No, we couldn't fault a single thing. Would I recommend the company and Jack - 100% yes. Absolutely- we would highly recommend them and all of the places we have been.. Thank you Balkan Escapes and Jack for a memorable and beautiful holiday.”

“Just returned from Montenegro (2 locations) and Croatia (1 location) Kotor in Montenegro was fantastic, full of life, great restaurants and drinking holes. The hotel was very quaint and in a good location, staff very friendly, bit noisy at night but no complaints and would recommend a short stay to anyone. One of the most scenic places I have ever been too. Budva also in Montenegro was a different kettle of fish, hotel was amazing, great location, staff very friendly, food perfect and an amazing pool which was really needed as it was so hot. Old town was so pretty and full of character but the other side of the resort was very loud and more suited to a younger person. Saying that we had a great time. What can I say about the hotel and resort in Cavtat (Croatia)... amazing and would differently not only recommend it to others but would come back again and only 15 minutes from the airport. Hotel perfect, staff friendly and views to die for and only a 45 minute boat trip to Dubrovnik if you wanted to visit. This is the 4th holiday we have booked with Balkan Escape and certainly won't be the last, they take away any stress that might be there, from flight booking and checking in to transfers to and from different resorts.”

“We have just returned from our 3rd holiday to Croatia booked through Balkan Escape and yet again we could not have been more delighted with the trip. Jack is always extremely helpful with planning our trips (this time a 3 centre stay) and everything ran like clockwork. We are always impressed with the quality of accommodation, organisation of transfers and of course the excellent customer service! My daughter and her friend have also been to Hvar this Summer, again booked through Balkan Escape (of course!) and again everything was just perfect! Thank you Jack for all your hard work!”

“Everything was handled efficiently and smoothly from the initial enquiry through to receiving our travel documents. Jack put together a personalised itinerary for us based on our budget and available dates, and it was perfect. We had a 3 centre stay in Croatia and all the hotels selected were of an excellent standard, the airport transfers and transfers between destinations were explained clearly and all went very well with no problems. “Booked a 4 resort holiday involving a 3 night stay in 4 different areas of Croatia. I had a plan in mind but Jack helped Taylor this based on our requirements. We ended up doing Split, Hvar, Brac & finally Dubrovnik. All the hotels and travel arrangements ran without a hitch and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip. All docs were sent to us in adequate time & we had absolutely nothing to worry about. Would definitely choose Balkan Escapes again. “From my initial inquiry through to us stepping on the plane to Croatia, Jack at Balkan Escape had organised a fantastic holiday. We couldn’t fault any of the hotel bookings, the location of the hotels and the itinerary overall. He booked the flight times, catamarans and taxi transfers that were most convenient us, making this a stress free holiday. Our first time in Croatia and it was fabulous. “We cannot recommend Balkan Escapes too highly. When planning a two centre holiday to Croatia, a destination we had never visited before, we outlined our 'wish list' in a short email. Within a day we had a telephone call from them which enabled us to further clarify what we wanted. Within a few hours a detailed itinerary was produced which met our specification in full. Balkan Escape booked all our accommodation, flights, taxi transfers and ferry transfer. The accommodation was exactly as described and the flights and transfers worked very well. We would have no hesitation in recommending them to others. First class.”

“We have just returned from s splendid holiday in Lake Bohinj and Ljubljana. From the the first to the last transfer everything ran like clockwork.Transfers were prompt , with friendly informative and safe drivers. The hotel Gasperin was spotless and in an excellent location. The breakfast was varied and generous with complimentary tea & coffee all day. They didn’t provide an extra bed as promised and apparently twin mattresses on a double frame is the Slovenian way but we coped. I would definitely return. The hotel in Ljubljana was luxurious, right in the centre and provided s superb breakfast. I would like to thank Jack who listened to our requests and planned the perfect trip for us. He answered our many questions and made the whole process stress free. I would recommend Balkan Escspes and certainly use them again. Many thanks”
