“The slippers are great but something gone wrong with insoles. My husband and I found our new pairs were squeaking badly. We phone up to be told to cut them down at the sides. We bought another pair for our daughter and yes very noisy. So I cut them down and OK. You have to get insoles sorted.”

“I love my backdoor shoes, as do a lot of people as a lot of the sizes are sold out. I ended up buying a style and size not quite right as the ones I really wanted, along with most others were sold out. Lovely designs, easy to get on and off, super handy. They need replacing every year to two years as the insoles wear thin and soles become slippery.”

“The shoes are lovely and arrived promptly. However, the website was a nightmare - it changed billing and delivery address ,AND size I had ordered ,as soon as we pressed pay. I phoned up and spoke to a brusque, unhelpful male who immediately blamed me and the fact we had not cleared “cookies “ - which we had. He said “ I am the boss, and I make the shoes”Not impressed. If it wasn’t for customers he wouldn’t have a business.”

“The package was placed in a shed by Royal Mail but they did not tell anyone. When I emailed Backdoorsshoes they were on to the issue immediately and were very helpful. Shoes are a Christmas Present so not tried yet.”

“I haven't worn these short boots yet. They are very light and seem very warm. The service was excellent. A lady rang to say she had found a pair in the warehouse even though the web site said out of stock. I have had numerous clogs from BS but found them good but very hard and stiff. Hopefully these are better.”

“Bought a pair of shoes for gardening and I must have nicked one because a tear appeared on the top. I wrote a review and mentioned this and I received a reply saying that the shoes weren't designed for heavy gardening but I received a replacement pair anyway, which I thought was admirable. I will have to be careful how I garden and they may not be adequate in the future, time will tell.”
