“The 2 pairs of Slip On Garden Clogs which I have are very comfortable and useful. However the Professional Work Footwear - Navy Ladies Clogs I do not find so comfortable and after wearing for a while made an area of my foot sore so I have not since really worn them.”

“I was generally satisfied with the service from Backdoor Shoes. Unfortunately, we ordered the wrong size and had to pay to return them. Which I found unusual for an online company. It seems a little harsh expecting a company to pay the postage for returns.”

“Normally I wear a size 8 shoe but to be on the safe side I ordered a size 9. The shoes arrived promptly but even with the inner sole removed, I couldn't get the shoes on. So I ordered size 10, and returned the 9s. I am keeping the 10s but they are a snug fit and not 100% comfortable.”

“I was disappointed as I chose the correct size the same as my previous shoes, but these are a little too small! Delivery was very good as was the communication.”

“The slippers are great but something gone wrong with insoles. My husband and I found our new pairs were squeaking badly. We phone up to be told to cut them down at the sides. We bought another pair for our daughter and yes very noisy. So I cut them down and OK. You have to get insoles sorted.”

“The shoes are lovely and arrived promptly. However, the website was a nightmare - it changed billing and delivery address ,AND size I had ordered ,as soon as we pressed pay. I phoned up and spoke to a brusque, unhelpful male who immediately blamed me and the fact we had not cleared “cookies “ - which we had. He said “ I am the boss, and I make the shoes”Not impressed. If it wasn’t for customers he wouldn’t have a business.”

“Bought a pair of shoes for gardening and I must have nicked one because a tear appeared on the top. I wrote a review and mentioned this and I received a reply saying that the shoes weren't designed for heavy gardening but I received a replacement pair anyway, which I thought was admirable. I will have to be careful how I garden and they may not be adequate in the future, time will tell.”

“Backdoor shoes seem to have changed the lasts they work from. Years ago, I ordered a size 3, then a few months ago a replacement. The last ones were too big (both width and length), so I'm trying a half size smaller. But still not the comfort I had before. They are a great product, but it looks as though they are not for me any longer”

“I ordered a pair of men’s shoes for Christmas at what I thought was the correct size, adding a size and the same as the previous pair I had bought a couple of years ago. Unfortunately they were too small and I paid over £6.00 to return them and requesting a size 11. The request was dealt with promptly however and shoes are now suitable”
