“Order one day and arrived practically the next. I am thrilled with these shoes, I have a fallen arch and being able to wear my insoles is important, absolutely brilliant.”

“My seld , husband and family members have worn Backdoor Shoes for a number of years and find them very good. We do recommend them to any one who hasn't tried them. They are very light and comfortable and hard wearing.”

“very pleased with my purchase, wasn't expecting to find insoles for garden clogs, they are good value and quality, nice thickness and dont ruck up when taking shoe off . Will visit again when needing some more outdoor shoes. Bought additional pair for my sister who also liked them”

“They really are the best everyday outdoor shoes, always at the ready for going outside into the garden, mud etc (completely waterproof). I bought my first pair (grass) 20 odd years ago at the ideal home exhibition and I still have them - they are amazing (everyone should have a pair). Since then I have bought more grass shoes and blue denim lace and my partner has the stones and dogs designs! Also their storage bags are super durable quality and quite unique!”

“To follow up from my previous review on creaking/squeaking insoles. To their credit Backdoor Shoes have already spoken with me to resolve the issue, and have kindly suggested sending me two replacement sets of insoles and a free gift. I am very happy with the quick service, and the honest concern they have shown to resolve the matter, very professional. I am hopeful the insoles will be fine, and I can go back to wearing the excellent shoes that I have worn for several years. Thank you for taking my comments seriously, and I very much appreciate how quickly you have acted to resolve the matter.”

“Second time I ordered these shoes. My last two pairs were fabulous and comfy. I replaced them with two pairs about a month ago, and BOTH pairs squeak every time I walk, it is ridiculous. I've even put vaseline under the insoles. They are clearly much more cheaply made, the insole are totally inferior to the previous ones. I will not buy these again, and I do not recommend them, a massive let down on what were an excellent product. I have the honey bees and poppies design...... back door people, you really need to check this out, the insoles do not fit the shoes properly and the literally creak on every single step!!!!”

Dear Tracey, Firstly, we are disappointed that you have received shoes which are not satisfactory and will of course rectify the situation immediately. We sell a lot of clogs with almost no complaints and take our customer's feedback very seriously. In 13 years we have always maintained and improved upon the quality of our shoes. Squeaking can occur when they have been purchased too small or the insoles are not fitted correctly. We feel that perhaps the insoles are faulty given that they don't appear to fit properly as you have mentioned.
